Topic: New VC titles in NA.

I got Zelda and am looking forward to Wario and Kid Icarus 2! I thought about Kirby, but since I just downloaded Marvel Pinball I'll have to pass at least for now.

The only thing i'm interested in the 8-bit summer games is wario land, but that rpg looks ok and tumble pop looks like ghostbusters, i'll need a review for it though.

I swear those Sonic games should be out now. They have ratings... What's with them?

I highly suggest the Sword of Hope II. Right up there with Link's Awakening DX & Metroid II as one of the best games on the service, IMO.

You realize just cause a game has been rated it doesnt mean that its coming to VC. Earthbound has been rated for years now and we all know that thats not coming to VC.

I think he's talking about player ratings (the 5 star system on eShop). The Sonic games have a few player ratings already, suggesting that reviewers are already getting review codes (which usually happens about a week or so before the game is made available).

In the youtube Nintendo video that was posted on the last page, they didn't even mention Mole Mania, and we got that one already. So I'm assuming there may be more tricks up their sleeve for North America.

All it says is "Gradius", so it's not really clear.

I don't even know what Gradius is, so I don't know. How many gradius games were there on the GB? Was there one on GBC or GG also?

No Gradius on GBC or Game Gear. I'm guessing it's the NES game since the GB game was called "Nemesis II" in Japan and Europe.

Why would it be the NES game? This is a handheld VC, and it wouldn't make sense to release a game like Gradius on the NES 3DS VC first over the GB one.

Have you heard about the VC in Japan? They just got Mega Man 1 and 2 for the NES (Yes, before Mega Man 2-5 on the GB).

While I agree that classic handheld games should take priority on 3DS VC, if NOJ is any indication, we may start seeing more (non-ambassador) NES games coming.

Despite that there's only one GB Mega Man game (out of five) on 3DS VC, they've decided to move on to the NES series in Japan (NES Mega Man & NES Mega Man II are both on 3DS VC over there). Also, Fire Emblem (a non-ambassador title) was just released there last week I believe.

I know that. But if Konami is just staring to release VC games in general, why start with the NES? They could release Gradius on GB, and then the NES game.

And the probable reason for the mega man games would be due to the 3D classics that were shown at E3 2010. If they are rereleasing them based on that, I can even bet they will get Mazo no mursamejo

I'm guessing alot more NES/Famicom games are starting to come out in Japan because they like to take everything with them.
