Adventure Island II is the only NES game that I want to come to the 3DS VC. It came out in EU and JP for the Wii VC but it never came to NA for whatever reason (despite us receiving both Super Adventure Island games).

It's OK to have an opinion. This ain't the Soviet Union you know.

Seconded, where's Adventure Island II for NA on Wii VC?

I think the Famicom game is Famicom Detective Club (Part 1, beginning and ending chapters).

Come to think of it, didn't the NES version of AI2 somewhat-randomly select which stages you play?
I think that and the color is all that separates the game from the Game Boy version you can already download on 3DS.

Adventure Island II rocks. I really hope we get it this time.

Both of this week's Japanese VC games are Japan only.

  • Famicom Tantei Club Ushiro ni Tatsu shoujo Part II: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/eshop/vc/tb8j/index.html
  • Field Combat: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/eshop/vc/tcnj/index.html

I'll edit 3DSware into this post soon.

EDIT:
No 3DSware this week for them, but they're getting 2 DSiware games:

  • 505 Tangram
  • Touch de Manzai! Megami no Etsubo

Actually, Famicom Detective Club Part II is Ushiro ni Tatsu shoujo.
There were actually two Famicom Detective Club games, and each of those had a first part and last part.
They did the same with their other visual novel games on FDS: Shin Onigashima, Yuuyuki and Time Twist.
(luckily Nintendo isn't making players buy each scenario separately on VC)
Are you confused?

Yep, but I just edited the list to try to correct the name. Am I right?

Next week, Japan's getting Bases Loaded and a 3D Classicized Sonic 1, nothing else. They don't have pages on the NOJ site yet, but I'll link them when they do.

Japan gets Welcome to New CluClu Land, the Famicom Disk System version of CluClu Land. It contains the arcade (VS CluClu Land) levels, as well as an Expert Mode (which deactivates the crystals if you don't finish the level fast enough). While of course the rest of will probably only get the cart version (if it's not already there, I can't remember).
And they also got Downtown Nekketsu Soreyuke Daiundokai, another Kunio sports game for the Famicom. I don't think this one ever got released outside Japan.
