Oh that makes since now, and the whol rumble they don't need it the wii has Yoshis story and majoras mask already N64 games could be emulated on 3DS, I just wouldn't buy them, I'd rather they allow you to do a borrowing transfer from your wiis VC library for all your wiis NES, Master System, Arcade, NeoGeo, TuroGrafix, Genesis, SNES, and N64 games, I don't think it would be too hard, and I'd play them more on the go then on the big screen at home

@akabenjy It's crazy that they have those GBA games sitting on a server ready to rock all they have to do is chuck 1 per month at us loyal fans, but nope. I would gladly pay $10 for each game or whatever they go for ;) what a waste Nintendo, you no want my cash or somethin' bro.

If you're willing to pay that you should probably just buy an ambassador system from eBay, transfer the games to your 3ds and then resell it minus the games. The drop in value when you resell should be less than the $100 you were willing to pay for the 10 gba games

Considering how the Wii U and 3DS shops will be Unified later this year, we might be able to do some select games (Kirby 64 can be done with just 3 buttons!)

Unless they re-mapped some buttons onto the touchscreen, I doubt they would add in N64 games to the 3ds VC. It would be more likely if they added CPP(XL) support like someone already suggested imo, though I would just love for them to be added either way.

EDIT: Haha, hope I'm not digging too far into the grave.

N64 has more buttons than the 3DS, so i doubt they will ever be on 3DS VC. the only way they were able to get away with OoT3D was that they fixed the controls, and that was retail

which is better? to be born a hero, or to be born evil and overcome that nature?

Considering how bad Nintendo was at releasing N64 games on Wii, (seriously, what happened to Mario Party 1 and 3?) it will never happen on 3DS. I do hope Nintendo will continue it on Wii U though. Asking for console games on a handheld seems silly to me as Nintendo doesn't work like that. (NES games are different because they were Ambassador games originally) Although it would be great to have portable N64 games! I really wish they would release Majora's Mask 3D, that has more chance than VC games.

For the last time lawsuits kept Mario party 1 form being on the wii. The chances of seeing that game is like seeing banjo kazooie on the wii, 0%. Don't get me wrong I LOVE to see the first game on the wii (as I preferred MP1 over MP 2&3) It's just lawsuit's pretty much ruin any games re-release.

True, but they still are remakes(and retail at that). I'm pretty sure a good amount of us are actually referring to the 3DS VC specifically, of which has not gotten any N64 games and most likely won't. :P If they do so, then the CPP(XL) would make playing much smoother, haha.

Well considering that they released Oacrina of Time and Star Fox 64 on retail I doubt it. Maybe on the 5DS because we barely get NES on 3DS :P

It's not going to happen, guys. Sure, it's possible. But the fact remains that there are a limited amount of buttons on the 3DS, and most consumers aren't going to attach a tumor to their handheld just to play N64 games on the go. It might happen on Nintendo's next handheld, but you can forget about it happening on the 3DS. We'll be lucky to see SNES, Genesis, and GBA games on the VC. After all, this is Nintendo we're talking about here.

But I would love to play Mario Kart 64 on the go though...

I would rather get Game Boy and Game Gear games instead of NES games that I already own on my Wii released every week. So no, I want less console games and more portable games released for the VC.

Like why is Konami releasing Super C instead of Operation C for the VC? The latter is way better for portables and it hasn't already released on the Wii VC already.
