I believe this game is the best GBA game ever made, and is my favourite Zelda.
Has anyone else played this game before, and is everyone looking forward to it? :3

It is a solid game, but I feel that it lacks a certain quality that A Link to the Past possessed. The kin stones were kind of lame, and I thought that the shrinking mechanic was not as cool as the light/dark mechanic of ALTTP.

That said, I am still very much looking forward to it. To be honest, I hope that I am wrong, and that I will change my opinion when I play it again on the 3DS.

I found the kinstones system to be a fun one. Collecting them to make more areas of the world unlock meant more emphasis on exploring as opposed to following the main path, which the shrinking mechanic helped reinforce. I've tried ALTTP but I prefer Minish Cap. I'm probably in the minority with that one though.

Just beat this for 3rd time a couple of weeks ago. Minish Cap is an awesome game. Only downside is that it's pretty short even after fusing all kinstones. Well, I got almost every one of them this time but there were some I couldn't get anymore because I went too far in the story. This time I also forgot to fuse kinstones with the third lady in that one place in town who is looking for house and when I noticed that, the man who builds the houses were already gone. I'm going to play through this game again on my 3DS but not for a while as I'll beat the other games first.

I totally agree! The graphics and sound in this game are phenomenal... I actually bought it when it came out for my GBA and loved every minute of it. I bought it again a few years ago off of Amazon (a new copy) and got a used GBA from Gamestop to play it and relived every moment of the game. I particularly liked the 'shrink down to ant-size' game mechanic because there are so many areas to explore and lots of Minish to talk to here and there. A very fun game. The dungeons are very easy at first but they do get harder obviously the further you get into the game. This is definitely one of my favorite Zelda games and I think it's highly underrated. I'm so glad Nintendo is re-releasing it for a whole new generation to enjoy ;) You guys are gonna be so happy...

Minish Cap sucked me in a lot deeper than most RPGs ever could, as in it was very addictive, I just wanted to keep going on and progress further.

It's easily the best Zelda game I've played on the GBA, A Link to the Past was alright but not nearly as interesting for me...

Completely psyched by this game coming out on Friday, I can relive my best memories playing through it again! Thanks Nintendo! :'D

Minish Cap never drew me in. I felt the shrinking dynamic was an interesting idea that failed in practice because of all the slow overworld movement where you couldn't even attack and that was boring. Vaati was a meh villain and the dungeons weren't memorable at all.

There was that talking hat though, so that was cool or something.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I love Minish Cap. It's like the spiritual successor to both A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. Easily the best portable Zelda.

Also, Ezlo is the best helper.

Well I find Vaati more intetesting than Ganon, and if people think the hat talks too much, I would like to direct them to this other char- "HEY! Hey! Listen! Hey! Watch Out!" Puts Navi In Jar Anyway - Elzo is a great companion and I find his 'squawk' much more awesome to occasionally hear. :D

I bought it this spring and finished it during the summer. If I recall, I got everything except the light arrows. BEWARE!!!

Personally, I would've preferred to see Warioware: Twisted (a game I haven't played yet).

Oh Irony

Currently Playing - Crashmo (on park level 108/100 ATM), Donkey Kong Country Returns, Zelda II: The adventures of Link

I made it to the last dungeon/castle/thing, and somehow lost the game. Literally, I couldn't find it. I was kind of into it, but I wasn't obsessed. I'll probably play a couple of the other GBA games before I get to the Minish Cap.

I don't like Navi either, though she talks less. Link used to be a real man and would go out alone, dangerous as it may be.
