Really getting into this now, it's such an awesome game I can't even put into words how much fun I'm having going through this game. I don't think I've even scraped the surface of what this game has to offer. :3

I <3 you Nintendo for releasing these games.

I love this game so far. It's pretty linear but I've found some really neat hidden areas already. It's also super creepy because of spoilers.

it is really interesting playing this after other m. right from the start you see the ship's AI in a whole different way... and i'll stop there to avoid spoiling it for people.

I agree with Nerrel... err... romulux... Fusion really helps to understand Other M a lot better.

I can now see Other M in a different light and see the whole storyline running perfectly.

Fusion is pretty basic, control wise. But the story, the gameplay and, heck, even the ships AI makes you want to continue playing and see the story from beginning to end.

I've only played the Prime series, Other M and Super Metroid (obviously) but this is by far the best out of them all! Fusion completely blows me away with the simplism, yet deepness, of it. Nintendo made something truly fabulous... again!

This is truly an amazing game. Way better than Prime 3, the only other true Metroid (besides the original) I've played. This game is awesome, but pretty hard.

Currently Playing:
Xbox 360: Arkham City, MW3, Gears 3, UMV3, Battlefield 3
PS3: inFAMOUS 2, LBP 2. Rachet & Clank: All 4 One, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3
Xperia Play: Crash Bandicoot
iOS: Sonic CD, Infinity Blade, Arkham City Lockdown, Mega Man X, Chrono Trigger

Also, have you guys seen what Fusion originally was? When it was first revealed at E3 2001, it was called Metroid IV (you can still see that on the title screen in the actual game), had a terrible logo, and had GBC-like graphics. Here's a video:

Well, Fusion has a slightly more darker environment. There's not a single moment in the game that doesn't present itself with a certain level of intensity. Even the slightest. It does everything a Metroid game is suposed to do, and executes it well.

Personally, the fact that it may be more difficult than other Metroid games, is a major plus. Though this is my opinion of course.

Okay, I'm stuck. I beat the first boss and got the charge beam attack or whatever it's called, and now I'm trapped in these 5 rooms and there's (as far as I can see) no way out.

The first boss should be an enhanced X parasite that appears right after you restore those cooling units, right? Mmmm. Shouldn't you head back up into the main control room to get more intel from the Robot thing? o.O Then you go back down, a cutscene starts, the wall explodes and you get a glimpse of Sa-X. Your clone and the scariest enemy in the game XD

Oh, I guess I mean the second. I already did that part.

After getting the original Metroid, wouldn't a remake of the original Metroid be a little redundant?

Nintendo - Where even first person shooters ooze creativity.

Not really. Everything in Zero Mission is completely redesigned. It feels like a different game.

I'll tell you one thing about Zero mission. After playing it I felt the original was a little redundant.
It totally expands and improves on the original in every way. It was really hard to go back after seeing how much better zero mission was.

So many of the ideas implemented in this game are just amazing. I could go on for a long time on how good this game really is but I'll just say that it's awesome to save myself the time.

Nintendo made it clear they didnt want to be releasing remakes via the Ambassador program. They released Amazing Mirror as opposed to Nightmare in Dreamland, and Fusion as opposed to Zero Mission. They released Minish Cap as opposed to ALTTP (thank god).

Eh, I would have rather got a better game like Kid Icarus or something else since it's going to be a 3D Classic instead of the original Metroid. Then I'd rather have Zero Misson as an Ambassador game.
