Another one of my top favorites not as good as 3 or 2 but still decent. The only complaint I have about this one is that they try and force you to use the megabuster way to much. Oh well still a classic. Going to be picking this one up tonight when I get a point card. Anyone else excited for this one today?

I'll definitely be getting this as well. I don't really know why, but I enjoy 4 and 5 a lot more than 2 or 3 for some reason. Regardless, I'll be trying buster only runs of the robot masters so that should be interesting.

Count me in, I find MM4 to be one of the better titles of the Classic series. I never really found the Charge buster to be that much of a hassle anyhow. Maybe it's because I started with the X series but holding down the shoot button while navigating the stages felt second nature to me in any of the MM series I've played.

For me Megaman 4 is right in the middle for me. Its good but not as good as two and there but not as bad as five and six. As for the Megabuster I don't use charge shots as I have found it easier and quicker to take enemies down by just spamming the normal shot.

I picked this up.

Not having a good time. This is such a clear step down from the first three to me. It takes sooooo long to defeat any boss without the weakness weapon, the balance is so skewed.

Yeah thats cause they want you to use the Mega buster all the time.

You should check your Club Nintendo accounts to see if there is actually a registration survey for this. The site claims it's worth 5 coins, unlike most VC.

Mega Man 4 is my fav MM game. Second to MM3 and then MM2 (or 2 and then 3...)!

I dunno, I think I enjoy 5 more than 4 since the Mega Buster is balanced better. I also enjoy more of the stages in that one... the stages in 4 are pretty unremarkable.

I still think 3 is the best overall, though.

So far it is the hardest of the Mega Man games I've played (1, 2, 3, 8, and 9). This is actually my first time experiencing it. The music definitely took a step down in this one from some of the epic tracks in 2 and 3. Mainly, I'm just surprised by how hard the game is! I'm at the point now where I can complete Mega Man 2 without dying once, and even "difficult" mode isn't too bad. This game feels borderline impossible at times, though.

Maybe I just need to play it more.

Still, I love playing all of these old Mega Man games on my 3DS.

Mega Man - (So unique & original for it's time. The one that started it all and easily one of the best in the franchise.)
MM2 - (Absolutely amazing during it's time, improved greatly over the firstand boasts one of the most amazing VG soundtracks.)
MM3 - (a bit dissapointing, sure the controls were more zippity, the ladder climbing was faster, the slide addde more variety to the gameplay and Rush was a nice addition. But it just didn't feel as epic as 2, nor did the soundtrack match up or the iffy set of Robot Masters. It's darker serious tone just didn't gel with me.

Then came MM4....At this point i was getting tired of the Mega Man formula and in ways 4 felt like a step back compared to 3. Some of the stage design felt bare bones and lacking, such as Skull, Dust and Pharo(however you spell it) man's, the soundtrack took a nasty nose dive which contained only a few decent tracks(Dive, Cossack stage 2, skull ect) Most of it sounded rather clanky and tingy to be honest, and I didn't like the Pace stopping Mega buster either. It's still better than MM5 and hell, these days I'd probably tie it with MM3.

How about Mega Man 6?
