I don't think it's worth the $5. It can be fun for a bit but not for long. Versions of it come for free with Super Mario 3D World and the Super Mario Advance games (kind of irrelevant considering the systems, but still).
Games like these are too expensive for the amount of content they offer. You'll have fun with it for a few minutes at a time. NES games like Legend of Zelda and Mega Man with a lot of content deserve their price, but they price arcade games at the same price, and they should be cheaper. I got Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Ice Climbers, Balloon Fight, etc. through various promotions, but I would never dream of paying $5 for any of them.
I played Mario Bros. for the first time in the arcades. This and Donkey Kong were the two greatest things ever at the time. And then came the release of SUPER Mario Bros.! (mind blown!!)
Yeah, its okay but nothing more than okay for a few minutes at a time. I got it in a half price sale on Wii U but wouldn't have touched it if it had been full price.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
I don't think it aged well at all. It's repetitive and gets boring fast, plus the controls are awful.
This is so true. Also to get the most enjoyment out of it you need to play it on co-op. I use to enjoy this game alot when I was a kid playing it with my brother and friends but on the 3DS as a one player game.
