When I first got the notification about the ambassador program, I read it and noticed that it said that there would be paid versions of the NES games in the e-shop. Then I read the GBA part and it said, "these will will not be available in the e-shop, they will be exclusive to ambassadors, Nintendo has no plans to release them." What do you think about this?
I'm really disappointed that Nintendo doesn't have plans for releasing the GBA Games but 10 is a nice number, it just sucks though because I've pretty much have all of the GBA games announced so far, only one I don't have is Mario vs. Donkey Kong. As well in regard to the NES games, I'm pretty sure that we'll only get 2D versions and not 3D updates until they come to public because they say we can download updated versions for no fee in the future or something like that.

I hope they release new GBA games in the future, but considering Nintendo is developing a mario kart, a new mario game, and a new smash brothers, I'd say they have quite a lot on their plate right now.

The group developing those games are not the group handling VC releases. Nintendo is a big company. It has departments. It has branches. It's not just Iwata and Miyamoto screaming at a keyboard, desperately trying to keep to deadlines of every game development that Nintendo has going at any one time. Screaming at a keyboard is Reggie's job

"No plans" does not mean they won't decide to release them later. They may let the 3DS Ambassedors have them exclusive for a year or more. Its hard to say.

Yes those particular 10 titles won't be put up to buy, just given away to the early full price buyers. To that, I applaud them if it stands. To have a system out so few many months and nearly knock a full bill off the price is a cockpunching to say the least. This way to me it's a full on apology and something special that stands out admitting error and trying to make it right. I get the NES stuff as it's already widespread between the wii VC and some being even in the old Animal Crossing and e-cards. Either way it's 20 free of which the NES 10 setup anyone can have shortly after we do. Sure it sucks if you really want that particular GBA badly, but if that's the case, you got a little over 48hours to buy the thing. Walmart and a few others have gone pre-emeptive and cut the price already so as to not suffer the fury of scammers coming back to get a price guarantee discount wasting their time. Just go get the thing or in the end the game really isn't worth that much to you.
To me the games if they were sold would be SNES tier, as in $8 a pop, and there's 10 of them, that's $80 and that's the price drop so I consider it...breaking even on their end and mine too with the NES games as gravy.
No one at Nintendo said 'GBA games' they said 'those 10 games' would be exclusive. Just because you can't have Yoshi's Island doesn't mean you won't get Super Mario World or either SMB2 or 3, Metroid Zero Mission, some Kirby title or whatever else that's possible.

What if the 10 GBA games are actually really terrible and that's the reason why they're "free exclusive gifts" for ambassadors?
Yeah, because Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania and Yoshi's Island are all really terrible games.
Plus, out of the five we don't yet know, they're all bound to be Nintendo's own titles and I don't think they made five bad Game Boy Advance games. I don't think there's any reason for concern.

Yeah, the ten games they've announced so far are all good titles so there's no reason why the other ten wouldn't be too.
