I'm still very disappointed that Trip World isn't on the VC for North America, but why the heck isn't Kirby's Dream Land 2? This game is super fun and I'd love to have it on my 3DS!
Any other North American NL'ers looking forward to this? Is it even gonna happen?
I hope I don't wanna sell out for Kirby 20 just to play it, I plan to keep my Kirby 20 pak for years and sell t for a high price and it won't be as high if I open it

Just buy it to let it collect dust then sell it years later? What kind of a way is that to celebrate THE Kirby's 20th anniversary!? If it were a collection edition thing I get it, but this isn't as far as I know.
Admittedly it probably will be worth something in some years. Kirby games tend to retain their value in complete or sealed condition (probably in part because they tend to be released near the end of each console's lifespan.)
Pretty sure they'll add it at some point. KSS Ultra for DS didn't stop them from putting KSS on Wii VC.

I've always wondered why Kirby games usually come out at the end of a consoles lifespan. Sometimes even two games release, with the latter one being the one at the end. The only consoles that haven't continued this trend so far are the Gameboy and the GameCube. I'm surprised KDL 2 wasn't part of the 8- Bit Summer. As it's a more known game and would have sold more than say, NES Open Tournament Golf.

Trip world is a EU exclusive, and there is no import service so no trip world.
TBH, I have a high feeling that KDL2 will come out September 13th on the Eshop, being the same week as the wii collection.

Not necessarily true. Japan got Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters despite never having it released over there. Also - this is only EU to NA we're talking about, the language doesnt need to change. I do hope that Nintendo dont let this get in their way, because Trip World is a good game, and there are plenty of great titles that werent released in EU that I'd love to get my hands on. Knowing many of them are for NA only would make me go insane. >.<
I desperately want this, as my original cartridge doesn't work anymore. D:

I still don't understand, being on the Gameboy aside, why it's called Dreamland 2. It's pretty clearly supposed to be a Gameboy version/sequel to Adventure.
It's called Dreamland 2 because it's on the Gameboy... Also the Dreamland Trilogy have no hats (for abilities) Include the Animal Helpers, Gooey, Dark Matter, and feature no Metaknight and also involve collecting items to fight the true Boss.
When people complain about the title "New Super Mario Bros. 2", I can point to Kirby's Dream Land 2.
I hate when people complain about stuff that worthless. It's like when anime fans are like "No, it should keep the original title of Uzumaki no Jutsu: Sugoi Edition Elemental World Break!"
It's a cute little game I kinda am interested in about a rabbit who wants to save the world... Kind Semi-kirby. Only problem is it's made by sunsoft, but this is actually one of their best games, so that's why we want it.

Kirby's Dreamland has 2 sequels if that makes sense. The Dreamland Trilogy is not part of the other, but both Adventure and Dreamland 2 share the prequel Kirby's Dreamland.
It's a short, quite easy platformer for the GB.
It has great visuals for a GB game, very nice music, and some very unique game elements.
Here's a good review if you'd like to see/know more. :3
