Topic: Hanabi Festival

The hanabi festival is one of my favourite parts of the virtual consoles because I think it has a much better value proposition than normal VC titles. In the majority of cases I've already played the normal VC titles that I want but I've never played the import games. I really want Nintendo to do a put a lot of import titles on the 3DS VC so I can pick up some (a lot) of classics that Europe missed out on.

What games would you most want to be imported?

The ones I most want are Shantae and the first three SaGa games(or Final Fantasy Legends as they were known).

...What's a Hanabi festival? something to do with... hana? who's bi?

It's whenever Europe gets import games for the VC.

Its japanese for fireworks. in VC terms it means that europeans get import games from america for a few weeks. But its more random

We get import games sometime, no festivals though

Huh? So North America doesn't the Hanabi festival? So do the import games comes out at random all the time(in Europe we get some random imports too)...

NOE doing the Hanabe festival is probably a good thing though because it's one of the only promotions Virtual Console actually gets!

@Oregano: Yep, we get import VC games whenever NOA feels like releasing them.

Uhm, they better bring Earthbound Zero to the states (it's completely translated but they held back on releasing it on VC).

I'd hope that maybe Earthbound Zero becomes a 3D Classic. Oh, that's irrelevant to the topic, sorry.

The game sounds interesting. But it seems like a game that would never be imported here.

I hope we get a bunch of imports. the Mother trilogy and the original X which X-scape was a sequel to come to mind.

Its not a festival to celebrate good games but a festival to celebrate import games.

Fighter's History: Mizoguchi Kiki Ippatsu!! needs to be in the hanabi festival this year.

I expect Chrono Trigger to be a Hanabi Festival title.

Well it obviously won't happen for the handheld console games as they wern't region locked.

well sega still havent released super hang on so i hope it gets caught up in that even though it may not qualify.

I want to see a translated version of Mother 3 on the 3DS's VC. Make it happen, Nintendo!

When someone mentions the Hanabi Festival I think the Mother series springs to most players minds, and wouldn't that be great in 3D? I mean even if it wasn't I'd be happy, as long as I get to play the game in English!

I would want Dragon Warrior I, II and III (GBC version) in our continent.
