Unfortunately, the GBA games do not include suspended save or sleep mode at the present time (basically, the same restrictions that apply to DS/DSiWare games apply here). The game is stretched to fit the screen by default, but by holding Select or Start upon booting the game, then the game will be displayed at its native resolution a la VC/DS games.

@sillygostly How are you downloading the games? Same way as the NES ones?

Yes.

Yes, for a game no one is paying for :P

Are we not paying for GB/GBC games?

And will we not be paying for GBA VC games eventually?

Someone check the NA 3DS and see if they are up yet. Nothing was announced for Australia and yet it got the GBA games now. Maybe NA is doing the same?

I don't have mine yet. If Australia has them it shouldn't be long for us.

I should have thought of that. :D

Also, pressing the Home button will NOT pause the game as the game will continue to run on the top screen until you return to the home menu.

Pressing Home will not completely pause a GBA game as it would with any other 3DS compatible game. In other words, the game will continue to run, so if you wish to pause the game, then you'll need to rely on the game's own pausing feature (if available). You'll find out what i mean soon enough.

VOOK said that the colors on the GBA games running on the 3DS are very dull and are far better on the GBA SP and Micro. Now that I just don't get. :( Ah well, I wasn't downloading these on my 3DS anyway. I'll stick with my GBA SP2. :D

I don't find the games visually unpleasant. :-/ Are they better on the SP and Micro? Probably, but then the games were designed for those consoles. The NES games look better on TV, too.

There's really no reason for these GBA games not to be spot-on perfect on the 3DS. That system has plenty of horses to emulate these games to perfection and if the brighter screen is washing them out, that can be fixed in the emulation as well. But as long as people are happy with them, that's all that matters. But I'll bet dollars to donuts, once these games hit the US and EU, there's gonna be a brick ton of b*tching. LOL :D

Huh? Each one looked different because of the brightness and clarity of their respective screens. I meant that the vibrancy could be adjusted via emulation on the 3DS to compensate for the added brightness the 3DS screen features.
