The day when most people get active is the day zombies roam...but there should be a thousand ways to kill them to make life more easy, but if you become one...expect a serious case of the munchies.

I bought this instantly with absolutely no regrets. It's even better value than the previous game and watch collection, and has just as much charm. I can see myself playing this and enjoying it for a really long time.

Incidentally, how is one supposed to play Classic Donkey Kong? I've never tried that game before and I have no idea how one is supposed to jump, let alone that screen switching mechanic.

I loved this game as child so when I saw it on the eShop it was an instant buy, mainly due to the huge nostalgic factor but I'm loving it at the moment.

You can only jump when there is space above your head to do so. You may have to walk backwards to a space where you can jump if a barrel is coming your way then walk forwards again after you jumped over the barrel to the next space you can jump up.

Its not really that fun of a game.

I found modern Donkey kong a blast to play on the Game and Watch Gallery 4, but not the classic version. If you play the modern one, you don't have to deal with the screen switching.

@Joshers744 The eShop itself has it in the "Available Next Week" section.

Which version, out of interest, Game Boy or Game Boy Color? You got both versions originally so I'd be very surprised if it's not the Color version this time around.

Color, theres a video of it and everything in the "Available Next Week" plus Snakenoid Deluxe which looks like a Araknoid/Break out except that you control the snake with your finger on the touch screen rather then the d-pad.

Is there difference between the GB and GBC versions other than color?

Nope, it's just that the GBC game looks a LOT better.

BTW, I haven't played the old GB game and watch games in a long time, but isn't this the game where you can get stars on that multiplayer game? Or was that number 3? I am just wondering if you can unlock all of the games without linking systems.

I actually think the color looks worse. I don't like remixed Gameboy games like Zelda DX. You can tell the game wasn't ment to be in color by how everything is. The Koopa in Helmet is all green.

It certainly looks a lot better than just putting a GB game in a GBA. They look TERRIBLE most of the time. (Wario land or Mario Land 1, for example). I will agree that Gallery 3 seems to improve on the color a bit, though.

I guess it's just like this:

The GB version of this game uses the same graphics as the SNES game it is based on (just in black and white), the GBC one had to simplify them to use different colors.

It's more obvious on the kitchen and the character.

Sorry about that, I was actually looking at footage of the Gameboy version being played ON a Gameboy Color. I just saw the Gameboy Color version and noticed the background for Parachute is a lot more detailed. Can't wait now.

I can't find a picture of the Gameboy version being played on a Gameboy Color but it basically looked like this with dull colors.

The Gameboy Color version now has the appropriate colors, as well as things are more detailed in the background.
