I'm torn. I want to get a Wario Land game on the VC, but I don't know which to get. I've been researching for a while, and 2 and 3 are almost the same as far as number of fans and critics reviews. Usually WL 3 gets slightly higher praise because of its length and boss battles, but I'm still not sure. I never played a Wario Land growing up, just the WarioWare (Made in Wario) games.

Please advise me on which one to get.

I can't say anything about WL3, as I haven't played it yet, but 2 was really awesome with its multiple endings and hidden stages. Completing that game 100% certainly took a while from me. Definitely recommend that game.

To my understanding, 3 is similar to 2 with many of its mechanics and the graphical style, but still has some new elements. If I remember correctly, in 3 you could also clear the worlds in a different order, like in WL4. Don't take my word for it, though.

I have no idea - I dont enjoy the Warioland games.

I wish I could help you, but I've only ever played 4 and Shake It! (both of which are excellent, by the way).

@Geonjaha All of those opinions are the exact opposite of the critics reviews and readers reviews that I read on other sites. Grrr...

Hmm, is Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land still not up on the NA VC? Didn't EU already get it? How weird...

Yeah, many of us have been impatiently waiting for the first Wario Land to hit the NA VC for quite some time now.

Just go for the first. Its a really good and polished game.
