21ArkFri 12th Aug 2011 @WaveBoyIt's extremely unlikely that Nintendo would adopt this, but I do enjoy Sony's approach to the whole "retro games on more than one console" thing. You can play a PS1 title on your big screen TV, then when you've got to leave, you can take the game and your save data with you. No need to purchase the game twice or anything. None of the 'magic' is lost, and if anything, it seems to increase the value of digital downloads. The best Nintendo example of this would be taking NES games on the go ala advance play in Animal Crossing for GameCube, but permanently inside the system.
