Topic: Anyone have trouble updating DK Jr.?

Staff Philip_J_Reed	1. Posted: Thu 14th Jun 2012 19:27 BST The eShop said there were no updates available to me, but if I went right to the DK Jr. page, it offered an option to update. I did so, but the game still seems to be in Ambassador form, with the old icon and no restore points. Has anyone else been able to update it? Also, has anyone purchased it outright yet? (Non-Ambassadors of course.) I'm curious if those features work for new customers.

sc100	2. Posted: Thu 14th Jun 2012 19:51 BST I'm an Ambassador and the eShop didn't even give me the option to update. I also couldn't update through the Downloads section of Settings.

DkFluttershyGuy	3. Posted: Thu 14th Jun 2012 20:08 BST I just tried to update DK Jr. too and couldn't, whatever page I tried to do it from. What's the deal? They provided updated versions of SMB and Metroid to Ambassadors with the public eShop releases!

DkFluttershyGuy	16. Posted: Fri 15th Jun 2012 08:07 BST Regardless of the high score deal, I'd like we Ambassadors to have the same product, and not a lesser one. Plus there's the NES & TV icon on the home page. Picky pants me wants all my NES games to be alike in features, etc.

Not for me at least...I've still got the old icon, which is why I'm pretty sure this is an error on their end and not a deliberate choice to whithhold restore points. (Honestly I don't see why they'd care if we used restore points to max out our score anyway...it's not like we'd be able to submit that to any kind of championship!) Does anyone else out there have the new icon? I sure don't. haha
