Topic: Anyone have trouble updating DK Jr.?

The eShop said there were no updates available to me, but if I went right to the DK Jr. page, it offered an option to update. I did so, but the game still seems to be in Ambassador form, with the old icon and no restore points.

Has anyone else been able to update it? Also, has anyone purchased it outright yet? (Non-Ambassadors of course.) I'm curious if those features work for new customers.

I'm an Ambassador and the eShop didn't even give me the option to update. I also couldn't update through the Downloads section of Settings.

I just tried to update DK Jr. too and couldn't, whatever page I tried to do it from. What's the deal? They provided updated versions of SMB and Metroid to Ambassadors with the public eShop releases!

Go under "Your Downloads" section under other settings, that's where I got the update, it worked fine for me. I noticed that every NES ambassador game has an update available.

Mine won't update either.

I just tried deleting and downloading it again, it did not work. Hope Nintendo fixes this soon

Nope not yet, I want my ambassador games to update, LOZ and Zelda II next please

OMG, I just found out. Yea, they're updating it, but they're gonna try to sell us some DLC called "MATH"

This game isn't worth updating anyways.

Maybe so your high score can't go to 999999 or what ever, that might mean Ice Cliber, Wrecking Crew, Balloon Fight also won't use save points, then again Tetris does so IDK

Regardless of the high score deal, I'd like we Ambassadors to have the same product, and not a lesser one. Plus there's the NES & TV icon on the home page. Picky pants me wants all my NES games to be alike in features, etc.

Wait - so the game HAS updated to the new NES icon, but there are no restore points?
If so I'd be happy with that - as long as it was selected only for appropriate games (Ballon Fight for example).

Not for me at least...I've still got the old icon, which is why I'm pretty sure this is an error on their end and not a deliberate choice to whithhold restore points. (Honestly I don't see why they'd care if we used restore points to max out our score anyway...it's not like we'd be able to submit that to any kind of championship!)

I am still living in the Ambassador stone ages here. No updated NES icon, no restore points....no Update - Period.

Nothing happened. And guys, in japan it did get updated with all of the features, so they are late it seems...
