Can't wait until this hits the e shop! It's the game that made me a Metroid fan.
Some jerk stole my original Return of Samus cartridge.
Hopefully soon I can get my beloved game back.

I'm looking forward to the return of Return of Samus! It will be so much better with the ability to suspend gameplay! Now if it only had a map...

I'm back (for the moment)!

Meh, RoS is my 2nd least fav Metroid game (Other M takes the cake!). Samus takes up like waaay to much of the small screen; many of the hallways are void of enemies; repeating patterns make all the areas Samus visits appear the same; sort of meh soundtrack.

yeah my biggest issues with return of samus are the lack of map and overly zoomed-in perspective. Still a good game, but a rather weak entry over all (barring that it was a monumental gameboy achievement for its time and was the birth of modern Metroid). I prefer 1 for NES, although that's probably the nostalgia talking

I honestly hated the original Metroid at first. Too dang frustrating and difficult. About as fun as the original Kid Icarus.
Which I also couldn't stand. It wasn't until Return of Samus that I really started to understand. Later I went back and tried the first game. I'm able to play it better now but still it's pretty bland. Besides Zero mission renders it obsolete.
ROS did have a few issues but I thought it was ultimately more enjoyable than the original.

If i hadn't just played through it on the original cart a few months back i'd be more psyched for it, but as it is now i'm not sure i'd bother picking it up (same with Kid Icarus 2, which i also recently played through earlier this year). Great game(s) though.

Well, I don't have the cartridge, so I'd very much like this to come. It's pretty hard to come by in most retro game stores today.

I sure am looking forward to it, since I'm a very big Metroid fan and it's the only game in the entire series I haven't played. Didn't get to play any of these classic Gameboy games so every title that's released is a brand-spankin new game to me!

When I close my eyes, I see pixilated blood.

Even so, it would be a bit more convenient to play it on the 3DS anyways. Plus most GB cartridges I buy off of the internet are shoddy and have broken batteries.

Email the seller first and ask if it saves.

Physical copies are always good to own, but it's nice to have the Virtual Console version. You get a fixed price and a guarantee it will work (unless your system is wonky) without the hassle of searching and waiting for your order to ship. At this point though, you'd have to either wait for the game to be released or for it to be available and shipped.

That said, I could wait on Return of Samus. I'd like to see it colored or enhanced, if anything.

I own the original cartridge and don't own a 3DS, but I'm still eager for Return of Samus to hit the VC...

Of course I am. I'm a hardcore Metroid fan. I'll buy any that is every Metroid game.

Just for you.

Yes! Played this to death. I know most of the game by heart.

I found it quite dull and very easy to get lost and have no idea where you're supposed to go.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
