Those old school Megaman games that were released for the gameboy would be cool :3

Truthfully the only one I liked was Megaman V on GB because it was different than the Megaman 5 on the NES. The other four to me seemed liked watered down versions of the NES ones.

I want 3ds vc to have gba and virtual boy because its awesome, for exampe I want every mario, every legend of zelda and much more for gba.
Finally on virtual boy I want mario tennis, wario land, mario clash and bomberman. I wish to put it on 3ds vc because it would be great for the nintendo fanboys!

Metroid II: Return of Samus
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

Those are my two definite GB purchases. But if all of the GBC and GBA games come out that I want, I'll be buying games like none other. D:

i dont see why a game developper wouldnt put every of their games available.
some games can have rights limitations due to distributors, company fusion, dead company, or whatever.

but nintendo should put every of their games available. every.
it can be seen as a gaming history archive aailable for everyone. like a public library of some sort.

I shouldnt say this, but this is a reason why I HAD a lot of emulated roms. just because old cartridges and old consoles are getting rare. some totally or barely functional. Some titles gave me so much hours of fun, it would be a shame to lose them.
heck, make them available for newcomers.
protect the oldies ! Dont let all of them fall into the rare collector status.

I want a huge list of nintendo 8bit games. a huge list of snes games. im willing to pay them to play on my 3Ds. if nintendo makes them cheap, this will kill a big part of the emulation community.

Super Metroid for sure. Would be stupid if they'll only put retro handheld games in the eShop, since the 3DS is capable of emulating NES and probably SNES too, and Super Metroid is one of the SNES games I really want to play on 3DS. Virtual Boy games on the other hand would be fun too. :)

yeah, i forgot about the vistual boy. i never really had a chance to play this thing else than a quick shop demo (Wario)
it would be nice to try these out, even more if the 3D of the 3Ds can be activated.

I doubt they will go further than the Snes or even NES. And gameboy advance is still a small part of the market. small, but still present thanks to the DSlite.
yet Snes still sees remakes or ports, so they still can make money out of the snes library.

NEW games would be a blessing. the good old, yet frustrating megaman franchise. the first metroid. double dragon. battletoad, ninja turtles.castlevanias.kid icarus. duck tales.rcracer.bomberman.all nes marios. zelda 2.offroad.p;unchout.bwing. BWING!!!
so much titles that i would buy for the sake of nostalgia

It's 2011. Any system being capable of SNES emulation is a given at this point. I'd love to see one universal VC shop for Wii and 3DS.

as much as i don't want to see a super metroid remake it would be awesome if they tweaked it to run in 3D, with all the layered backgrounds moving separately and everything. i think you're way more likely to see fusion or zero mission on the VC though and even those aren't all that likely.

Yes, and yes.
But they're keeping us mainly in the dark about it. They're probably gonna talk a decent amount about the eShop and its future offerings at the E3 Press Conference on Tuesday.
