It turns out NA didn't get Harvest Moon after all, only Mega Man 4.
Europe's getting a huge boost on NES Ambassador games this week. Which is coincidental for me since I noticed the amount of un-updated NES Ambassador games they still had, and thought "I wonder if they'll have a huge VC week with the rest of the Ambassador games." and bang! I was really close with 3 Ambassador games in one week. I guess it's actually a Download Play special this week since they're also getting Super C, which is coming to Australia this time unlike on Wii. The only NES Ambassador game EU is missing now is Wrecking Crew while it's Balloon Fight for NA.
I take it the Mario Bros. they're (and probably the rest of us eventually) getting is the 1983 version and not the PAL-exclusive 1993 "Classic Serie" version?
The updated version had improved enemy graphics (closer to the arcade than the international release) and the cutcenes, and allowed Mario to turn mid-jump (that while probably upsetting to arcade purists, did make the game a lot more controllable).

Japan's getting Galaga and the NES version of Nintendo World Cup. I guess North America is getting two games for real this week. The NOA lists both Mega Man 5 and Harvest Moon GBC as coming out this Thursday. Europe is also getting Mega Man 5.

From May 31st to June 8th, I'll be on a beach vacation. With the Oracle games already confirmed for Thursday in North America, this will be my last post in this topic until I return home from my trip.
