Has there been any announcements or even rumours as to when the above game will be released in UK?

Many thanks in advance

Sega said last year they would judge the success of the Western release of their 1st batch of 3D games to decide if the others would be release over here.

After that they said they had sold 2,000,000 units on the eshop (I suspect most were 3d classics Sonic but I could be wrong - I have 6 out of the 8).

I bought 4 out of 8: Space Harrier, Super Hang On, and Galaxy Force II for the 3D, and then Sonic just for Sonic. I really hope these things are selling well to make Nintendo take notice and give us a new batch of 3D Classics for games that are actually classics that will sell and not Urban Champion this time.

The problem with new 3D classics is they wouldn't want them competing with the VC ones, they could do it for Snes or GBA titles since they haven't been released on 3DS yet but with the introduction on the 2DS they may not want to alienate those punters.

Maybe, but half the people that bought a 3DS family system do use 3D and would be much more inclined to buy a 3D Classic than a plain old VC game, and if they add minor extra features or improve the graphics at all the way some games have, they could still be enticing to 2DS owners, especially 2DS owners that may be planning to upgrade to a 3DS XL eventually.

I don't use the 3D but I would still be more likely to buy a 3D Classic because stuff like the slowdown is fixed in Kirby's Adventure making it the best version that there is. (Doesn't help that the Wii U version is a totally worthless broken 50hz hack job).

Wow, I didn't even know they'd made improvements to the Classics version of Kirby. I'd actually assumed it was one of the laziest 3D Classics where they'd simply added 3D layers to a game that really didn't need any 3D in the first place and otherwise left the game as is: didn't even get it till it was finally a reward from NA Club Nintendo because of that.

Kirbys Adventure is one of the most visually advanced NES games. So much that it often lags.

A remade version of it on newer hardware would need to be super lazy to keep the lag.

Bloop.

It isn't about which version to get it's about getting people to double dip, you can add lots of minor things and a 3D effect but would it be enough to get a mass of people to buy it again when they already have it?

I was pretty sad when they released VC Punch-Out!! because I realized that meant there would be no 3D Classic for it, but I would totally double-dip to get a 3D version of that. Plus, there are still games they haven't even released on VC that would make sense as 3D Classics, such as Rad Racer.
