Would have a lot more coins than I do if I didn't restart every time I make a bit of a mistake in coin rush.

I have 4 hours in and have 97,000 coins. :3 My record for coin rush is only 9,000 though, Haven't moved past beginner ones yet.

Why dont you guys post which pack you guys are getting your Coin Rush records in?

How are you guys getting those huge coin rush records? I grab every single freakin coin I see and almost always hit the top of the flagpole to double the pot and I only end up with like 3700 coins.

It really depends on what levels you're doing - and that you always get the double flagpole score.
With the star pack my high score is around 9700.

Two things.
First off, you gotta beat the game, so that you start coin rush with a gold flower in your inventory. (This also means don't play as White Raccoon Mario)
Secondly, you gotta end every level with a perfect flag pole jump, which doubles your current coin total.
Fail to hit it and kiss your high score goodbye.

Also important is getting every coin you can in the 1st level. 1 coin times 2 times 2 times 2 is 8. So if you grab 20 extra coins thats 160 extra.

Yea, assuming you get all three flagpole bonuses:
Level 1 - Coins are worth 8
Level 2 - Coins are worth 4
Level 3 - Coins are worth 2

Also - dont panic about your time if you have enough left. If you're at the flagpole with 50 seconds left, go back and get more coins! Time isn't worth that many coins unfortunately.

Flagpole bonuses aside, if you get taken to a boss level (which does happen), defeating the boss also doubles your coins.

It's also important to remember to grab the star coins. Getting all three is worth a lot.

@grumblebuzzz Having a golden flower on the first level, whether you find it or have it to start, is essential. Once you have a gold flower, you need to find some gimmick to give you a running bonus. Eg, when you are gold, bouncing on guys heads without missing nets you increasing coins per bounce, up to 50 coins per bounce, which is huge. If you can find an area with lots of enemies to bounce on (or you can do the classic infinite 1-up with a koopa on stairs), you will get a huge bonus.

FYI, the limit on coin rush is 30,000 coins. Your total cannot exceed this. This means, assuming you hit every 2x bonus, that if you can grab 3750 coins in the first level, you will max out. I've gotten over 21,000 by pushing the first level hard.

I now have about 10,650 coins.

I'm past 150,000 coins now, with 13926 coins for my Coin Rush record.
