Just replace the baby princesses with more superior characters like Wart or Tatanga or maybe E. Gadd riding a kart version of the Poltergust 3000 and the game will be a definate purchase for me. Also they possibly need a character from WarioWare/Land, mabye Ashley or Captain Syrup.

I would want someone from super Mario sunshine, driving a kart that kinda looks like F.L.U.D.D or maybe even F.L.U.D.D himself! but that would look sort of weird. another thing they could do is make F.L.U.D.D a power up like you could use the speed nozzle thing to make the person go really fast and pass the opponents.I think that's a really good idea

Also, i seriously hate the 'baby' characters.... They're wasted space.
I wholeheartly agree, especially with the baby princesses. Whenever I get struck by a Blue Shell, Red Shell etc. They always utter out a infantile taunt when they pass by. EVERY. FRACKING. TIME! (pardon my french) It's infuriating.
