I'll probably get Mario land but Shantae is really tempting me. I've played Mario land 100's of times though and Shantae looks really awesome. Plus it'll be totally new and not something I've played before. I Only have enough funds for one at the moment.
I'd feel all dirty not buying Mario first. Maybe I should flip a coin to decide.

I think it is a little too soon for this thread. The only options are DSiWare games and 3 GB games. If you include the free stuff then it is excitebike and the pokedex for everyone.

How is it too soon? There are probably well over 300 Dsiware games available. That's plenty to choose from.
I didn't just mean the Gameboy games.

Well the server finally stabilized so I logged on, connected my Club Nintendo, Added 10 dollars, downloaded Excitebike, Downloaded Pokedex 3D, downloaded Super Mario Land, and downloaded Brain Age Sudoku. So yeah, I've been pretty busy in the eShop I also transfered 2 essential DSiWare games. I'll transfer the other hundred or so tomorrow after I have more time. Time for bed now!

Well If you don't think it is too soon then you Might as well start the following treads.

-Post your 3DS eShop Collection
-MIA Games 3DS eShop VC
-What Is your favourite 3DS eShop game
-Rate your 3DS eShop game
-3DSWare Swansong

@ Rob_Mc_1
Aren't you being a little over dramatic? I'm simply asking what everyone bought on their first visit to the e shop?
Like I said there's alot to choose from and the selection isn't just limited to the 3 gameboy games.
I'm sorry you don't approve of my topic.

Nothing so far, but potentially the Mario Clock, being as we've been deprived of an alarm clock on the 3DS.

Super Mario Land. That game is hard, but I was able to finally beat that last boss.

How long does it take to fully charge these suckers anyway?

Off the top of my head, I hear it's pretty much the same as every other DS: Around 3 hours.

Also I'll be getting back to this thread as soon as I download Super Mario Land tomorrow!

@Link79
Its not that I don't approve. Its just that it was created 2 hours after the initial release from the patch. I would like to think that it is time to sit back look to see what everything does. Savor the moment. Leave the over analyzing for tomorrow. As for myself. I haven't even looked at purchasing anything right now. I'm just waiting for the press conference.

As far as the potential threads I listed they will probably be made at some point. I can think of a few others as well like " what is your most recent eShop purchase".

I have to totally agree with WaveBoy here. I never was a fan of 3D, but now I can imagine how enhanced other things could be if they were.

I'm sure people who jumped the gun and got something (like SML as awesome as it is) would be kicking themselves if "tomorrow" during the press conference Nintendo announced a bunch of 3DS Ware and 3D remakes that were added to the eShop during said conference. Or next week. Surely you'd be happy with the freebies and trailers ATM, I know I'm too hyped about possible new stuffs "tomorrow" to be even thinking about eShop purchases

@ The topic, I probably won't be getting anything on the 3DS eShop for a while. I'll wait for a SMB remake, a LttP remake, Donkey Kong Land or Tetris on the VC or some cool new 3DS Ware app. Untill then I highly doubt I'll get anything.

Just picked up Super Mario Land. It was one of my first Game Boy games and I had lost the cart a long time ago.

Here is a pro-tip that may already be common knowledge. Right after launching the game from the menu, hold down select and start until the game loads. The result is a perfect 1:1 pixel representation with a cool Game Boy border to fill up the rest of the screen. Also, if the 3D slider is on, the game will appear deeper in the screen than the border, giving the appearance of a slightly sunken screen. Very cool.

Since Excitebike 3D and Pokedex 3D were both free, my first real eShop purchase was Super Mario Land. I have a quick question about re-downloading stuff though if anybody wants to answer it (and I apologize, its probably not that hard to figure out). I was just curious about changing out the SD card in the 3DS (2gb) for an (8gb) SD card I have. I have downloaded Excitebike 3D, Pokedex 3D, and Super Mario Land. Is there any way I can move them off the SD card and then onto the other? Or should I delete them and then re-download onto another SD card (or will it not let me do that?)

You can copy and paste the files on a PC(I think) and yes you can redownload stuff as many times as you want.

Mario Calculator...YEAH! Ok, I'm actually serious. I didn't intend Mario Calculator to be Download Prime, but I carry my 3DS around a lot, and it seemed like a good idea. Plus it converts animal age to human...my cat is 79 years old. So there you go folks, Mario Calculator: fun and educational!

I'm waiting for Thursday to see if they'll put out games I don't have or have enjoyed for Gameboy. My first download was Excite Bike though and man, I really dig the 3D effects.
