Topic: Your 3DS Game Rotation?

So, when you have nothing new to play, how do choose what to play? I have a system set up...

Sunday: Paper Mario: Sticker Star (work on sticker museum)

Monday: Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy (try to top scores on various missions)

Tuesday: Tales of the Abyss (level grind)

Wednesday: Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (level grind)

Thursday: Dead or Alive: Dimensions (VS mode online & off)

Friday: Kid Icarus: Uprising (online multiplayer)

Saturday: Mario Kart 7 (online multiplayer)

I also sub 3D Land for Sticker Star occasionally, but I don't often play Ocarina of Time 3D or Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater, because they don't have much of a pick up & play nature to them, once completed.

If I have to kill just a few minutes, I'll fire up a download like Alleyway or GB Tetris.

When I'm not busy with a game I'm more actively trying to finish, I occasionally put more time into Code of Princess (to level grind, since I'm stuck on "Possession"), Theatrhythm Final Fantasy (to listen to the music, challenge my high scores, earn more rhythmia and crystal shards, etc.), Pushmo (to kill time) and Mario Kart 7 (online multi).

I'm always busy with a game I'm actively trying to finish.

Sometimes I will playing through one of the Mega Man VC games, though. Also, I have a strange addiction to play Aero Porter and screaming in rage at the 3DS when it inevitably becomes unfair.

I have too many games going, and I leave some games for too long. I think I'm going to put my game playing on a schedule as well so that I don't go too long without playing any one thing.

A schedule? I usually just play whatever I feel like playing... It kinda comes naturally.

I tend to stick to just a couple of games at a time and play them through to completion. I don't think I'd properly appreciate playing a story driven game spread out over a year.

I'm currently using my 3DS to play the first Inazuma Eleven and playing Baldur's Gate EE on my MacBook.

No, I'm not saying that I add a game to my weekly schedule whenever I get it.

When I have a new game, I do focus exclusively on it until I've completed the story. It's just when I don't have anything new, that I form a schedule around my completed games.

I'm always focused on one game but then have small brakes where I usually play download vc games like Megaman and VVVVVV in short bursts

Intense, difficult game with hopefully a decent story in quite large chunks (for recent games, something like Fire Emblem) mixed every once in a while with short bursts in a relaxed, easy-going game (new Animal Crossing).

I just play what I feel like playing at the moment.. In other words, I don't have a schedule.

Me personally I just play whatever the hell I feel like. Normally I feel like playing FIFA after watching/playing football which is usually on the weekend.

At night I like to play VC games. It just feels right.

The main chunk of gaming goes to large unfinished games though, at the moment it's Fire Emblem.

I simply play the last game I bought non stop until I get another one. So at the moment, I play absolutely nothing but Luigi's Mansion 2 on my 3DS, and will likely do so until Mario & Luigi Dream Team comes out.

I usually play KIU for half the week and FEA the other half. Sometimes I'll take a break and play an eShop game though.

I have so many games I'm working on I'm practically never without a game to play, but when I do run out I always go back to the most recent animal crossing game

I've just recently alternated between New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Wario Land II (both coin collecting games, ).

I have been rotating between Harvest Moon The Tale of Tow Towns, Final Fantasy Theat-something and Pokemon White 2 since last month.

I don't stick to a schedule...
I can tell you I'll be playing Fire Emblem: Awakening exclusively for the next few months until Animal Crossing: New Leaf comes out at which point I'll play a lot of that and a bit of Fire Emblem. After that...who knows. Apart from those two titles there aren't any retail 3DS games I really go back to. Mario Kart 7 may be the one exception to that, but I'm pretty much done with the other games I have.

Right now, playing a lot of Paper Mario on 3DS since I finally got past the third world. Aside from this, I've been rotating: Monster Hunter 3, Resident Evil Revelations, Castlevania, Adventure Land, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kingdom Hearts, and Pokemon Dungeon. My son owns Lego City for 3DS, so I will eventually try that once he puts it down.
