Topic: XL stylus

Ok so, my ex-dog kind of ate my 3DS XL stylus this morning and the system came only with one ¬ ¬*
I can't order more from the nintendo store because NoA hates non USA/Canada countries.

I couldn't find any XL-specific replacements online. The original one was perfect and I don't want to end up buying a cheap knock-off that will scratch the screen or something that won't fit the stylus "holder".
Any suggestions?

They're slightly different, but a DSi XL stylus will fit in your 3DS XL. Get some of those.

More importantly, what happened with your dog?

there should be some you can buy at a local game store? otherwise i don't know, sorry

And I just tried putting the DSi XL stylus in my 3DS and it really is fine. the look is slightly different, but it should be fine.

Yeah, she didn't really "ate" it, it was more like, "strategically bitting only the tip so that it hurts more".

I really wish they'd give two styli like they did before. I would feel better that way, it was such a pretty stylus.... I guess a DSiXL one will do.
I'll have to stop playing touchscreen games for a while until I get a stylus and a screen protector : /

Yes, DSi XL stylus fits well enough in the 3DS XL slot. BTW: I always replace the original Nintendo stylus with a cheap third-party stylus immediately after purchase because they do tend to get lost.

Your local gamestore or department store video department should have some replacement styluses by Nintendo and other third party companies. I am not sure where you are but I know my local Target has them along with screen protectors, cases and such right by the 3DS games.

Wait a minute, it says they sell them to all proper american regions and the Americas . Where are you from that doesn't let you buy them?

Their official store specifically mentions that they only ship to USA and Canada. Just like Club Nintendo.

We may visit a city with big stores this month so I'll try to get a DSi one there.

...Isn't that pretty much North america anyway? Mexico probably isn't on there considering the major problems going on there, but I feel your pain. Here in Iowa nothing happens.

Morphtroid - Check your 3DS, I've sent you a swapnote about a spare DSiXL stylus.
I'm sure they will have ones for the 3DSXL sooner or later, but there don't appear to be any around at present.

Mexico is part of North America. They're Nintendo of America, anyways, not Nintendo of North America (-Mexico). (BTW what problems? Am I missing out something?). But what ever.

if you are having trouble getting to a store, perhaps eBay? i've gotten the larger, pen type styluses there, in the past.
