Na, we can wait one week!

I'm guessing the 3d is barely there because if it was more pronounced then they couldn't of made the game work. My guess is they felt obligated to add it since it was a new system sort of.

I'm still on the fence about this one. I am 100% sure I will be making a purchase on April 10th. I'm just not sure which game I'm getting. At the moment it's between Xenoblade, Monster Hunter, and Steam. My wife told me to get all three or two of them, but then I informed her of how long they play. My schedule will barely allow for me to play through one of these let alone 2 or 3 of them. I'm leaning towards Monster Hunter and I almost bought it at Gamestop on Wednesday but then the poster for this game was staring back at me so I thought I better think it through first.......so I bought Mario Party 10 for my boys instead and saved the the remaining store credit for a game to be purchased on the 10th. Too many great games and not enough time to play them all.

Lol, I've talked to you before. I still say get Steam first because it can be beaten in a couple of weeks then Xenoblade 3d as that will take you a month or 2. My favorite is obviously Monster Hunter. I put in 150 hours now and mind you that about 85% single player and am finally nearing the end I think. That's just the story mode. There is just so much to do I can easily see this game taking me to the end of the year. If that what you want and don't need to play the other 2 games for a while then get MH otherwise if you want to play those other games now then get the other 2 first. Just my suggestion is all. Hope it helps.

Now back to MH lol. 500 more hours at least!

I remember your suggestion, but honestly I'm still leaning towards MH. I can wait for STEAM. I've played the demo of that a bunch of times and had a blast but it's not pressing me to buy right now as much as the other two. Xenoblade tempts me just to see what all the hype is about. I wish I knew when Fire Emblem is to arrive in NA because that would help me with my decision. When I tried MH 3, I honestly couldn't figure out why everyone liked it. However, with the MH 4 demo, I keep wanting to play it....and that's just a demo missing all the weapon/armor customization. The only reason I'm still hesitant on MH4 is that right now I'm playing the demo with my two sons but neither want to buy the full game....they don't seem to like it as much as me.

@dkxcalibur Well after seeing you play the real version they may change their minds. The online or local if you will is much more robust with plenty to do. Just the difference weaons, armor variety, and stats alone is mind blowing. The thrill of the hunt just gets better and better with each new monster you see. The level of customization is nothing like I've ever seen in any game before. If you got this game you might not need any others for quite some time. Plus we have a good community here that will be playing for a good long while. I don't see myself stopping any time soon and that's with a bunch of upcoming games I want including 2 next week. I got Majora's the same day as MH4U and played it less then 2 hours and its the only console Zelda I've never beat. I want to play it but can't pull myself away lol.

It's the same with XC3d, I want to play it and finally beat it but my attention can't be taken away from MH.

Oi Spoony tech, stop trying to pinch another potential Xenoblade convert away from us ๐Ÿ˜

Just kidding, I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you listed really, codename S.T.E.A.M and MH4 are definitely on my list to get.

Lol, he will get it eventually no matter what he decides.

@dkxcalibur Sure thing and if you do get it there is plenty of others that will help on the forum topic as well. We are very passionate about the game and always like new comers because we were once new to the series as well.

It's maybe worth adding that the poor graphical quality is mostly noticeable in the areas where you get close into the unique models, like in Colony 9. When you get onto the Gaur Plains, it all looks a lot better. I guess because the textures are tiled more in those sorts of areas.
They also seem to have balanced the difference between near and far texturing slightly differently than I would've imagined. The texturing in the distance is often surprisingly good whereas nearby is always a bit muddy. This does a fairly good job at keeping it feel huge and continuous.
It really does feel incredible that the whole Gaur Plains runs at flawless 30fps on a handheld too! Big respect to the graphics guys who pulled that off.

Guys, I'm back! Can anyone tell me how many blocks are needed to download the title? I typically download most of my games and I need to know if I need a bigger card or how much room I need to make to accommodate the game if I choose to get it on Friday.

You missed that news story huh lol. Just over 30,000 blocks. Bigger then the 4 gig that comes with the new 3ds.

I actually have a 8 gig card but I doubt I have room on it with everything else. I think I've made up my mind to get MH4....although I might have to do some housecleaning with my SD card to make enough room for MH4 too.

I'm five or six hours in, so happy to finally own this game. Buying a copy is very expensive and finding an ISO to play on my PC is hard too. I still want to own it on Wii just because I've seen how glorious it looks, but I'm so thankful I own this on portable.

Can't wait to start this when it comes in the mail. Only problem is, I dont think I'll be able to stop playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Totally agree. I still only have 2 hours into Majoras Mask and I really want to play it more but MH4U keeps calling out to me.

As someone who never had the game on the Wii I am so far loving the game on my 3DS.

Only around level 20 but the story is great and love the fight mechanics.

I was still only in the first temple in Majora's Mask when Xenoblade arrived. Guess I'll be finishing that in 2016.
