If you can find the Wii version I say get it. Obviously the game is difficult to find now, however if you look hard enough you may find a decent price. Heck I was fortunate to find a copy at EB games for 40$ after calling different stores if they had any in stock.

You can get the wii version used for $50 and less on amazon. It's not that expensive and is definitely the better version.

Information isn't that hard to look up. Please stop lying.

Well you can get it for under 50 from gamestop if you want to tread into the devil's lair.

According to Google Maps, I live about 1300 miles from the nearest Gamestop, so that's gonna be a long-ass tread LOL.

Looking back over these comments made me look into pricing on this game for the Wii and damn, I never realized how inflated it is. This is the only game I've ever played that I think would justify a price like that, but still! I remember buying this game when it first came out, nearly convincing myself not to buy it because it would probably become some bargain bin JRPG I could pick up for five bucks a few months down the line. I couldn't have been more wrong...

The same goes with Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn, prices for Radiant Dawn are inflated like Xenoblade. I've seen insane online prices for Radiant Dawn ranging from $130 US to $200 US.

And a word of advice: NEVER buy used games from Amazon! They inflate the prices incredibly. Just find a gamestop or use ebay.

edit: I just noticed that the going price has gone up from $55.00 to $75.00 in the last month and a half. Get it now before the price goes up further.

You can't go wrong with Xenoblade. I loved it on Wii and will be upgrading to New 3DS as soon as it's released in the States. It likely won't be as pretty due to lower res (although I think the smaller screen will help) and I'd really like to see the world in 3D. I'll be picking it up myself for sure.

I've never understood how the original game was so hard to find, I casually bought it months after release, though it was the last copy there. Well I'm going to finish up the game on the Wii(nearing the end.) but I'll buy the new one for my brother, as he hasn't played it(an excuse to buy the new 3DS and Xenoblade)

As a sidenote, I recommend checking local Gamestops for a copy of Xenoblade. A store near me was selling them used for $50. Certainly not the best price in the world, but still better you most places online.

I own a copy of Xenoblade, but I also want the New 3DS version because it's portable! ...I still need to finish Xenoblade, by the way.

And absolutely worth it for how good the game is (if you're into JRPG's with WRPG elements). Sure, it's a shame that's it's not selling for $10-30 at this point, but some games are good enough to pay full price years after release. I just paid $40 for a copy of Baten Kaitos Origins (by comparison almost EVERY PS2 JRPG now goes for under $10)...and it was totally worth it.

Though it can also be a dangerous street. I've paid top dollar for older, sought-after games and been completely disappointed by how overrated they were.

Since the Wii is dead to me and sold off, I never got to buying the game even when it was new as I was fed up with it already, so when/if I get it, it would be on 3DS. I think it's better that way anyways seeing that it's portable as I find it far easier with a little kid around to use a handheld either in the room or in the bedroom once she's down for the night.

Kind of makes you wonder though. Let's assume the New3DS will retail (and XL) for what the 3DS and XL retail for now more or less. Now figure out what the Wii version of the game would cost someone and also figure what you could get for selling your current 3DS or XL off for. Which in the end would cost more?
