@Chrono_Cross You're also not considering the fact that
1.PWR was a lazy port of the Wii Sports Resort version
2.It was a launch title, while WSR came out in the Wii's mid-late life.
If the 3DS is stronger than the Wii, this shouldn't be a problem.
And that's why some early X360 games look worse then late Wii games, right?
You can't compare a mid-late lifetime game to a launch game. Sin and Punishment for example looks better then some PS2 games, but that's not a fair comparison of power.

If a launch window title is supposed to gauge system strength, then the Wii would've been stronger than the 360, as Twilight Princess looked comparable to or better than anything on the 360 at that point.

Twilight Princess is graphically superior to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion? Wow.
If the 3DS is stronger than the Wii, please explain why developers haven't figured that out yet.
1. A few Wii games look like shovelware PS1 games.
2. Again, IT TAKES TIME.
Just to make myself clear, this isn't like a generation gap difference, or Wii vs X360. This is more like PS3 vs X360. The difference isn't that great but it will be noticeable in due time.
Because the 3DS has only been out for 2 and half years, and everyone is too busy figuring out how to make the 3D work, let alone the graphics up to par? I thought that was obvious?
For a more direct response, the 3DS's full power wasn't accessible until mid-2012. As for the devs, some are lazy, other have, and others haven't.
You're not getting my point. As of now, no games are graphically superior to the Wii's line up. Hopefully in time, developers will unlock the system's potential.

I get what you're saying, but the fact of the matter is that there ARE graphically superior games on the 3DS.
To a minor degree, yes. It's hard to comprehend why someone would compare a game released 3 years into the system's lifetime to a game released on the very first day.

Let's compare Super Mario 3D Land to Super Mario Galaxy, then. That's pretty fair.
Or Twlight Princess to Ocarina of Time 3D, New Super Mario Bros. 2 to Wii, Mario Kart 7 to Wii, and the other games that are comparable. Preferrably third party.

Super Mario 3D Land looks a bit worse than SMG, but either way, both look pretty decent but I assume both look tons better upscaled (since both are pretty jaggedy at times). MK7 looks worse yet has a better framerate. Dunno about NSMB. Both look average at best.
I'm not comparing the Zelda ports.

I'll give you TP and SMG. MK7 wins. Never seen NSMB2 in person. RER wins vs the RE4 port. The 3DS version of Rohdea the Sky Soldier looked better than the Wii version, and KI:U looked better than both. Despite being a lazy port AND launch title, PWR is comprable to WSR.
