I like MK7... except for the fact there is no single player race mode. You only have Time Trials, Battle and Grand Prix... what?
The Wuhu Glitch is now fun actually, just fill it up with bananas and sit there the whole time in their way as they just run into you, it's better if you have 2 - 3 guys with you though, made quite a few leave because of it, I came last but I made glitchers leave! T'was a proud moment!
I also wish you could have multiple accounts... seriously, just one... are you insane?!
To be honest, there really is nothing wrong with MK7... it just has a few things missing that should of really been there. Like a track editor, single player race mode and more battle games to play, I'm sure if they thought about it they could have got some really better game modes together... to be honest I don't ever use Battle Mode, far too boring.
Ummm ok if all of those things you pointed out bug you in Mario Kart than why the heck are you playing it? Pretty much what you said is what makes Mario Kart Mario Kart. If you dont want all that stuff than you need to play a Nascar game or Gran Turismo or some other racing game.

Thanks for clearing that up. I really liked Single Race in MKDS, since usually I just wanted to play one track once, then move on to another game. No single race = no buy for me. Damnit, Retro, how'd you miss something so obvious?!
That I seem to be a magnet for green shells, most especially if I'm turning a sharp corner or ramping over a bottomless pit, drives me a little nuts. It's like I have a sign on my back or something. And I do miss the missions and custom emblems from Mario Kart DS.

Mario Kart is the king of frustration, well Mario Party is pretty up there too
Mario Kart strongly encourages parity (to put it lightly), but by and large, whether it's against humans or computers, the best racer is still going to win most of the time (the series historical use of rubber band AI notwithstanding).
A Mario Party board with 1 human and 3 CPU players, though, is the holy land of the Cheating Expletive Computer. Those games practically flaunt their deviousness,
@MickeyMac It's not too bad, but I really wish it was there. But it's better if you have a good 15 minutes or so that way you can play online for a few races or go through one whole Grand Prix cup.
The communities make up for it slightly since you can set the rules to how you want and then share it with friends. Only problem is, it's not the same as one single race around a track and then heading off... Retro/Nintendo really missed it there. I still believe they didn't include it because it might be too easy for you to accumulate coins too quickly.
Ah, I didn't realize you accumulated coins in the singleplayer? I guess that would make sense that they didn't include it, then. Still a shame, though. I do like to start every session of any racer with a single race just to warm up at least, and Mario Kart isn't something I like to spend a whole lot of time with even then.
No Dry Bones. I'm not to fond of the characters like Wiggler, Queen Bee and Lakitu. Also the lack of customizable emblems. I was making crazy cool emblems on MKDS and not seeing them come back is a bit of a bummer.
I really wanted a single player versus, new battle modes, and for balloon battle to be last man standing. I feel like I'm trying to win that way, rather than just some kind of high score.

The character selection...Wiggler was fine...but Queen Bee?...Metal Mario? Seriously? Also there's the fact that red Shells can fly now apparently... o_0 Also I wish they would bring the All-Tour cup back...

Like I said in my original post, MK7 is one of my favorite games. It's just a huge adrenaline rush, and I feel satisfied. Believe me, the goods in this game definitely outweigh the bads. Frustrating yes, but like everyone is saying, it's part of the fun.
