Wind Waker was actually the first Zelda game I played. I only played it for like 2 minutes because it was at a party and everyone wanted the controller. But yes! More GameCube games on 3DS overall!
I think nintendo would be smart to re-released WW because lots of people I know loved the ds games but dont really want 2 try the others so maybe they can play WW and try the others because they like it. thoughts please!
There's rumblings of gamecube games being downloadable on Wii U, so I doubt they'd remake it on 3DS. Especially considering they've just released a Zelda remake for 3DS.
As much as I love Wind Waker. Do a new Zelda game for 3DS.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Are we just going to re release every Zelda known to man and keep rehashing old games we've already played? Let's get something new for a change? Ocarina was nice but enough is enough.

it's very likely that an HD emulated version is coming to the wii u's gamecube VC, so i wouldn't hold your breath for a 3DS remake. (majora's mask is already at the head of that queue anyway)

The same goes for me as well.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was my first introduction to the Legend of Zelda Universe and I've been hooked ever since. The art style and whimsical design drew me in head over heels. After LOZ: The Wind Waker I played some of Majora's Mask and then I went on to buy The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (best game ever) and I've played some of LOZ: Spirit Tracks and then I went on to enjoy Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS!
Anyway, yes, I'd be all behind supporting a re-make of LOZ: The Wind Waker for the Nintendo 3DS just as much I'm behind supporting LOZ: Majora's Mask on the 3DS.
I also hope we shall some new original story 'toon Link' Zelda games in the same art and presentation style as that of the Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass on the Nintendo 3DS along with the watercolor anime style of the upcoming Skyward Sword.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

You mean that full priced retail remake on a new console that just got a price cut because of average launch sales and has sold almost 1Mill units? Yeah, Nintendo would be stupid to do that again. They'll definitely wait and sell it to you just on their future online store and won't even consider the potential market for a 3DS remake.

Wind Waker, much like Ocarina of Time, is a game that could benefit from the touch screen. All that sailing and changing the wind could be more intuitive
IDEA! The WW sequels on DS kept the same art style. The 3DS could handle Ocarina of Time, and it has graphic capabilities close to that of the GameCube. So what about another Toon Link game (audience grumbling) BUT IT PLAYS LIKE THE 3D ZELDA GAMES!? (someone in the grumbling audience murmurs positively)

Yes. Putting Toon Link on the DS was a terrible decision. The 3DS could handle the graphics from the GameCube game, but couldn't outdo them enough to justify an enhanced port.
