Has anyone experienced the wind sensor to go wild? Mine won't stop in the main menu everything just spins nonstop real fast like lol. It doesn't really effect anything yet but im sure eventually this will not be good. I've turned the system off. restarted etc. And it keeps doing it anyone know anything about this?

Try cleaning the microphone out with a very small piece of fabric (I know that the piece of fabric will have to be VERY small, but if you manage it, then dust might be affecting your mic.)

Or you'll get a piece of fabric jammed in your mic. This seems like a bad idea.

I may try it tomorrow i used to write progrmas for a CNC mill manufacturing place and i'm friends with everyone there still so we have very small things to clean and test very small parts so maybe ill try and clean it there Hopefully that's the case i really don't feel like sending in my system already.

This happened to me once before I even knew that blowing would make everything spin. So it obviously isn't just you. Seems to be a lot of thing wrong with the 3DS...
Well it could be a combination of noise...I don't think motion will do it, haven't tried or noticed yet. But when i'm in a car or somewhere with alot of noise I have noticed that everything spins real quick
I would be at a red light, car is quiet and things are calm on the menu. I rev up the engine and start moving, and the chaotic spinning begins.

This happened to me after setting the console in sleep mode and then opening it again while on the system menu. It disappeared when returning to the menu after I had started a game. Perhaps it's simply a bug? If so, a firmware update might fix it eventually.

Yes all the time... no, only in the passenger seat xD But I take it around with me for the pedometer...i was doing a little experiment because the spinning was making me curious, and this is what I found out.
If this is still happenng and you are in a silen area, I suggest loading up 3DS Sound and trying to record something. This should give you an idea if your microphone is faulty. If it is, time to talk to Nintendo.

My DSi did that every time i brought it on my bus and so does my 3DS. Are you sure it's still happening when you're not in some type of transportation device?
