Topic: will you buy the 3ds xl or the wii u?

Both.. A red/black 3DS XL & a black Wii U

I definetly want both.

Neither right now. Would I rather spend $199 of my money on a system I already own, or would I rather buy 5 3DS games for the same price? Tough choice, but I think I'll go with the games.

Wii U, the only thing better about the 3DS XL besides the size is the battery life. Not worth a $200 purchase, I need to save up for the Wii U and other games. Personally, I think launching the XL in 2013 would have been a better idea.

I'm gonna get the Wii U first and then sometime after that I'll get the 3DS XL hauu~ I got a cousin who wants a 3DS real bad and I figure I'd get the XL and transfer all my data/downloads to that and then give my cousin the formatted original 3DS, of course personally I'm gonna wait for the reviews to come out on the XL long before I get it, and Wii U is just too high on my want list right now~ ^.^

Wii U. Besides the size difference the 3DSXL doesn't offer anything new that I have to have over my current 3DS. If the 3DSXL had a second circle pad than I would have definitely be picking up the 3DSXL but I am happy with my current 3DS.

I'll get both. Paying them off by myself, if the 3DS XL is $300 or lower, I will be able to make up for it within a month or two. Even if the current rumor of $600 for Wii U is true.

The XL is confirmed to be $200.

To answer the question, I don't need another 3DS, especially one that looks like it was made by Fisher Price. It's Wii U for me!
