Probably eventually but I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be in the June 6th update. I know Nintendo was showing off various 3D movies on 3DS at E3 such as Yogi Bear and Tangled so I think its almost definite that some type of movie service seperate from Netflix will be coming in the future.

seriously just a Video/Movie player would be more then enough for me. I'd just put my movie/video on my SD card and that would be da bomb. Oh and youtube...seriously not being able to play youtube videos is just....disappointing to say the least, so i hope we get an app for youtube or youtube on the new browser would be great.

Um, theres a 3D movie application already on the 3DS. thats proof. I'm pretty sure if they have a 3D movie app, they're going to make 3D movies. o_o

lol I know...I just hope we'll be able to watch movies like How To Train your Dragon or whatever in 3D. (or some other CGI movie)

Well between YouTube and Netflix confirmed there might not so maybe just streaming?

Nothing in confirmed until it happens, ESPECIALLY if it requires licenses from companies like movie houses.
I'm sure Netflix will be on the 3DS no problem, but Nintendo setting up their own video on demand digital store would be a serious hurdle for Nintendo since they've never done anything like that before and tend not to be tied down by other company requests. They are like Apple in their hunger for full control, but unlike Apple, Nintendo doesn't have the multimedia companies by the honchos.
