Topic: Wii/Gamecube screenshots viewable on 3DS

Try looking at a completed Street pass puzzle to get a clearer, animated, diorama of sorts. All the puzzles are mostly based on wii games.

Oh how I wish the 3DS was capable of rendering games at this resolution.

Mario Galaxy looks absolutely phenomenal. Clearly the best of them all. The game is already gorgeous, but the 3D just makes it "wow."

...What if I don't have 3D...stuff for my games? Will I still be able to do this? Would like to try stuff out with Mass Effect and Portal 2. xD

No. You could take a screen shot from Mass Effect or Portal 2 or whatever and turn it 3D. It doesnt even have to be from a game. I took the movie box from Batman The Dark Knight and turned it 3D.

BellGoRiiing, you would need images that are already stereoscopic 3D, whether as .mpo files or side-by-side images.

I know, I'm not sure how that works though with games, like...taking a 3D screeshot and if it would save it as two images or something...

That wouldn't work. There's no software that can make a 2D image 3D. It needs to be a 3D image composed of two separate images.

Sin and Punishment would be freaking awesome in 3D.

I've made a few that are stereoscopic... you just have to mess around with it.

Still doesn't make sense that you can create a stereoscopic 3D image with only ONE image...o_0

Well, I didn't use just 1 image. I would use the same image twice, but then I would take a sprite or something, place it on one image, then put it in a slightly different place on the other image. When on the 3DS, it appears to be popping out. Kinda tough to explain...

Oh, well...I'm wanting REAL 3D...lol

Get the star fox pack. Its only like 10 images max, and one of them is TRUE 3D. I didn't know I could see popouts until I saw one of these images.

Nah, don't feel like it, lol. The crapload of Wii/GCN games I've downloaded before were enough for me, they were awesome. lol

that was a great way to break in a new 3ds. the resident evil 4, other m, and ocarina of time ones looked especially great. other m seems perfectly natural on a handheld, the scaled back art direction and the linearity make much more sense on a portable.
