Thank you everyone, I just don't know which to choose, most people say wait until the New 3DS is out (I already own an 3DS XL, before I had an normal 3DS but there ware problems on it) So yea, I also read that Nintendo is gonna make new consoles with a sharp thing, that's right or not?
Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

There is no way you'll see a successor to WiiU until 2017. Console development phase usually lasts about 4-5 years. Once you have the final prototype, you have to deal with potential yield problem in factory, etc.

Not to mention, there is a huge, software side of things; making of OS, dealing with custom API, creating launch (and beyond) games, etc.

PS4 development started in 2008, 5 years before it was released. It's perfectly normal for us to hear rumors of WiiU successor, but that doesn't mean it's gonna get released any time soon.

Personally, I'd go with N3DS since 3DS is a device with better support (you get both 1st party games and a decent amount of 3rd party games). While it looks like WiiU is slowly picking up the pace, its lifetime sales are probably not going to pass 30 million sold and trust me, 3rd parties know that too and that's why they will never offer a decent support (plus, people mostly buy WiiU to play Nintendo games, not COD, BF and similar games). 3DS on the other hand is selling very good considering strong competition from mobile market (phones, tablets) so a decent support is guaranteed.

Nintendo is working with Sharp on something called ''free-form display'', however as of now we do not know if it will be incorporated in the next handheld or home console. We don't even know if they'll use it for consoles at all, it might as well be a thing that is specifically developed for QOL. Still, we're assuming that it will even become a thing. So again, my advice would be; Do not rely on things that might happen, because chances are, they usually won't happen.

For a New 3DS? You said you already own a regular 3DS XL, as of now, there's only one exclusive game for the New 3DS; Xenoblade Chronicles (a game that can be played on the Wii U as well). And they're not going to drop the support on the regular 3DS either. The Wii U on the other hand offers a completely different library of games that cannot be played on either the New or the regular 3DS.

I am not thinking to buy a new 3DS (which is only a better CPU and 3D, and I don't care 'bout that, I think t he Wii U's better...)
