Anyone else notice this?
Pictures in magazines or on websites make the games look horrible!
Why is that?

It's when the screens are enlarged, makes them more pixelated and all that...happens sometimes with console games too.

This pretty much.

Almost every game looks better on the system it's suppose to be played for anyway. Pictures hardly ever do a game justice.

Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

Interesting, I've been thinking that most screenshots for 3DS games have looked fairly good. I mean.......

........ 3DS games don't look too bad in screenshots

The pixel get more stretched, like Eureka said. I's have to agree with Skywake though that the screenshots online do look pretty good. Looking at my NGamer and ONM magazines though, they do look like they're from the Gameboy Era. But anyway, when MK7 comes along I'm sure it will be great!

If you want to see 3DS games in their normal resolution, just look 'em up via the 3DSes Internet Browser under 340x260 (I think).

But what Eureka said, the pixels get stretched and they lose their proper resolution, not much you can do about that. They were meant to look nice on the console itself, not on a computer screen.

@Skywake Holy crap! MKDS looks hideous! It couldn't of looked that pixelated last time I played it... all 4-5 years ago I think.

All DS games look that bad. The DS doesn't have pixel filtering or anti-aliasing. It's the same basic tech as a PS1.

The DS definitely doesn't look as great as we remember it now. I still have my whole library and having played 3DS games, they look blocky and pixelated.

When I close my eyes, I see pixilated blood.
