Topic: Who's going to buy a 3DS game at launch given the weak lineup.

I might just get pokemon on the 4th of march and wait for good games what about everyone else.

Super Street Fighter IV is enough to have me waiting outside the shop on launch day, cash in hand.

I'm getting Super Street Fighter IV, Ridge Racer, and Super Monkey Ball for my Japanese 3DS.

I'm more concerned about buying the 3DS despite the line up. I gotta feeling the console itself will be scare. I remember how long it took for the Wii to not only be restocked but also stay stocked in general.

Probably Super Street Fighter IV and Pilotwings Resort.

I think you'll have to wait a long time gonna try preoreder tommrow game seems to have gone down to £219 might be online if its shop ill only have to pay £145 as I'm going to trade in my dsi.I remeber the wii I got mine at the end of 2007 and I had to buy a £300 bundle in gamestation to get it as no one else had it except gamestations big bundle not many were happy to pay for.

Not getting a 3DS until a game comes out that I really want. Sure, Street Fighter IV and Pilotwings Resort are interesting titles, but not interesting enough to buy for the full price.

Then you might be stuck with the games you wanted but no 3DS because all the stores won't have them anymore. I, for one, am planning on buying at launch. Who cares about the weak lineup? I'll wait, play my DS games and Pokemon Black, and enjoy all the awesome stuff the 3DS can do without the 3DS games.

It's a matter of opinion, but personally I'll wait until more games I'm interested in come out.

Well, that's okay, I'm not imposing on anyone. But I do have one thing to say...since a lot of people are not getting it at launch, that means there's a better chance I'll get mine on time! I pre-ordered mine but I won't be getting it until the day after launch. I was kinda worried everyone would swipe them away from me before the next day, but seeing as everyone is holding off, it's fine by me!

I will buy Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D,Dead or Alive Dimensions and Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

I have a pre-order down for Pilotwings Resort. I love the Pilotwings games, and I think it'll be a good showcase for the 3D to boot. I'm also planning on putting down a reserve for the Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked, since it's one of the only US MegaTen games I didn't pick up.

I've preordered nintendogs + cats: Golden Retriever & New Friends for launch day, and whether either of them end up being launch titles is another matter but I've also preordered Pilotwings Resort and Super Monkey Ball 3D. Decided to preorder Ocarina of Time 3D yesterday as well, even if it doesn't launch for a while.

Pretty much this, Super Monkey Ball, Pilotwings Resort and Rayman 3D. Look forward to some online battles that day with random strangers.

I'm still getting mine. I have it preordered online so I probably won't get it day one but that's fine with me.
As for the launch lineup I might get something but honestly when the 3DS comes out I've still got about a month left of classes with plenty of work during that time. So it's not like I would be able to sink a lot of time into a new game anyway.

I've never played a Street Fighter game, so I'm looking forward to SSFIV.

I didn't know it had a weak lineup. It has a lot of solid games imo. I'm still probably going to wait a while. Since the PSP2 is coming out at the end of the year, I expect Nintendo to have something good up their sleeve, like a bundle or special edition 3DS.

I just want the 3DS, with DSiWare, 3DSWare and the Virtual Handheld, retail games can wait.

When will the price of ds games drop like ps2 games did when ps3 cameout, I'm just wondering how long.
