The games I couldn't stop playing were:
Super Mario World
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Mega Man Battle Network 3
Fire Emblem
I've gotten better over the years in terms of balancing my time, but the Ace Attorney Trilogy has me hooked again.
Um, probably just to limit it to the games I was willing to play for 3+ hours at any one point. Which in the past few years would pretty much only be Xenoblade, both Zero Escape games, Miles Edgeworth (but that was more me being stubborn at how long the last case took) and Bioshock Infinite. So basically, DAT STORY!!!!
though ironically my biggest single session for Xenoblade was the part with arguably the least amount of story.
TES IV: Oblivion (PC), probably have over 1000 hours logged with it and still haven't finished the main quest.
Hitman: Blood Money (PC), soooo gooood. Even managed to finish on the hardest difficulty with Silent Assassin ratings across the board, which is quite a challenge with some of the levels.
ACCF I could have stopped playing whenever I wanted, however I was determined to finish it by my standards, make sure I got my moneys worth.
