So, as we know the 3ds is coming to the end of its life but which titles are confirmed to still be coming out?

The only ones I can think of are Persona Q2 and the retro city rampage sequel. Timespinner must have been cancelled since we haven’t heard anything about the 3ds version in so long.

I personally want the 3ds to still be supported for the foreseeable future, even if it’s just third party games. How many games do you think are left?

I started to hunt Japanese Exclusive 3DS games and some PAL exclusive 3DS games too to double my 3DS games collection.
I have checked from playasia and.... looked like no more new 3DS games anymore after this year.
But it doesn't mean it will be suck.
You can check older 3DS games you haven't played yet. Maybe you can find some of them.
New games it doesn't have to be "New and Fresh" by year. Even for older games you have never played before, it will be a "New" experience to play.

Barring any surprise announcements at E3, which I doubt will happen, I think these two games are pretty much it. The eshop might still get something on occasion, but if the last few months are anything to go by, it'll most likely be shovelware or games that aren't usually worth your time.

It's a crying shame IMO, but this is how the technology cookie crumbles. I love my system and would like to see a couple of Japan-exclusive games migrate outside of its borders, but I doubt it'll happen.

Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)

I doubt they'll be any first party games at all now. Probably no more physical releases outside of Japan.
I still love my 3DS, it still gets a look in even though i have a Switch.
Still a few games in its back catalogue i want to pick up.
