the dpi in the new 3ds is way better than the new 3ds xl. i compared image quality xl and the standard many times. sure the standard has smaller screen but it has crispier graphic for me. if you want slightly larger screen without sacrificing the dpi of the screen the new 3ds is the answer. trust me mate. the new 3ds will sell better than the new 3ds xl. not too small, not too big and no pixelated screen.

I'll think about it a bit more before I decide. My eyes are horrible though. That's my main reasoning behind wanting to go with the XL.
UPDATE: I'm not a big PPI/DPI junkie. So I'll be purchasing the XL. The current models have the same relative size and the same PPI and I've absolutely hated my 3DS but I love my girlfriend's 3DSXL. Taking that into account, I know that I'll fair well with the New 3DSXL. Thank you for your opinions and helping me to find a place to purchase though. If anyone else has any opinions or knowledge then please feel free to drop them here.
