I was wondering...
Ive read about demo events, but nowhere I found where in montreal it was supposed to be, or even when.
anyone knows ?
Because i am really doubtful about some games, wether I buy or not. 40 - 50 dollars a game that I dont usually look for is a bit pricey.
I plan to get street fighter, but fighting games arent what im buying usually. Since ive been a big fan of the Turbo one on the snes nd the alpha one on ...sega CD ?
Maybe its time to have a go at the franchise again after all these years...
The demo would be nice to see if its a yes or no.

currently playing:
Final Fantasy IV DS
Ratchet and clank All4One
3DS : Sam : 3050-7590-3005

Wish I could point you in the right direction. There isn't any renting service like Gamefly over there?

Street Fighter IV is the first game I got from the SF series intentionally (I have SFII on the SNES given to me from my sister).

It's a great game. Guess for now, you're going have to go with word of mouth. I've heard that the eShop will have demos of games as stated by one of the developers of the 3DS- not confirmed but said it is possible and may happen.

here, we got EBgames. maybe they will.
I saw some DS events at bestbuy too, like the dragonquest 9 treasure map event.

So youre a SFII turbo player huh. How far is this new one from it ?

the only fighter that got into me are Soulcalibur 2 on gamecube, wish i merely did the single player mode and adventure mode then got bored.
If you call Smash brothers Melee a fighter then i played an absurd amount of time on this title. But its a class on its own.
oh yeah, there was that bushido blade games on PS1. Those rocked, never saw a game like these afterward.

Oh, I've only played SFII once or twice when I was 4. It's been YEARS since.
I love Soul Calibur games.

But I prefer Smash Bros. over any fighting game out there. It's not even a legit fighting- rather an action game with characteristics of a fighting game. I just enjoy Smash Bros. games more than any fighter out there. I also prefer Vs. games over SF. Love fast paced action but don't mind SFIV as it's more 'simple' and a bit more accessible than the Vs. games.

My favorite Smash Bros. game is Brawl. I think it beats Melee in that it's much more balanced (yeah, I said it- 4 characters were considered competitive worthy at least where in Brawl that isn't much the case anymore). And other reasons such as stage selection and music among other things. Melee upon going back and playing is pretty broken and too 'fast' for it's own good. Of course, it's still a great game and has a place in my heart that Brawl will never touch.
