Topic: When will the 3DS have other colors?

i want red but if it's not coming out soon i won't be able to hold out. it'd pretty much have to come out between now and ocarina of time, otherwise i'm buying whatever's in front of my face.

blue looked surprisingly green to me in a store today, maybe it's just the heavy lighting but it wasn't much like the photos at all. still pretty.

New colours will come out when the sales of the system drop below an acceptable threshold. Like how they always deal with colours,, it won't be any different.

I love the Purple and Red ones, but I'm very happy with my Aqua blue one at the moment.

You could get a sweet 'case' for it. I consider my 3DS orange because I were to play this in public everyone would think it's an orange 3DS. It's ashame that it makes it a tad thicker so you won't be able to use the cradle.

Spray paint is the quickest solution.

I still have high hopes for a Zelda 25th anniversary 3DS in gold with a triforce on it and Ocarina of Time comes packaged with it. Call me a dreamer, but it would be worth waiting for.

Went to a small Nintendo event today and one of the representives took me to one side and asked me loads of questions about what I liked, disliked etc... but one thing he really wanted to know was what colour I had, why did I choose it over the other. I have aqua blue and Black just looks too much like every other DS... and finally if I had free choice of what colour I could get what would it be and asked me to give a couple of examples and why, during this he started making some notes.
I dont know about anywhere else but here in the UK the Aqua 3DS and the Black 3DS both have different price points at the momment with the black one being as much as £50 cheaper than the Aqua one so obviously there is some issues there and mabey we may get new colours sooner than we think. By the way I said I was fine with either Red or Green aslong as it came in the same finnish as the Aqua one if you were interested.

White/black would be really cool as long as they do it right. Black and white together on technology can be really awesome but if it's not perfect it can look tacky or cheap.
