Topic: When is Mario Kart coming for the 3DS?

I'm pretty sure the havn't announced a release date. but if they do, it will be posted here.

I'd hope for a late 2011 release. However with Kid Icarus Paper Mario and Mario 3DS in development as well, Nintendo might spread out the launches and Mario Kart may get pushed back.

I hope they push it ahead and release it for all current Nintendo hardware, DS(i), 3DS, Wii and "Café". They also should add the feature to let us race each other no matter wich hardware we are currently using. Battle of the console. Would be überkool. Atleast do it for the 3DS and "Café".
Is there any game that has the feature of playing against other console? Nintendo now has the amount of alive consoles to do it themselves but imagine the console team battle in next COD where all four main (PC, PS3, XBOX and "Café") consoles meet.

My guess for the release date for next Mario Kart game (3DS and "Café") is.... launch date of "Café".

They said Mario Kart is planned for this year and it's likely being given prime important considering the absolutely gargantuan sales of MK DS and Wii.

I was at game stop one day and I saw the release dates for many games and I saw Mario Kart 3DS coming around in june somewhere I'll have to go back and check.
