Topic: when do you think they will next update 3ds - 2ds

hi i haven't seen an update on the 3ds in ages any idea when it will be and do you think animal crossing will be updated again

There hasn't been a major 3ds update for a while, maybe even a year or two. The only updates that I'd expect are more "stability" updates which the user won't really notice.
As for Animal Crossing I would appreciate extra features because I love the series but they are probably working on a switch version at the moment. The welcome amiibo update was probably just to keep people happy as there was never a PROPER wii u game (amiibo festival doesn't count!).

The next stellar stability update will probably arrive internationally to the 3DS family systems later this month, featuring loads and loads of stability, what else could you want more?

Just got an update today. Probably another "stability" fix. Let's face it, Nintendo are not going to introduce/implement anything new to the ageing 3DS firmware now.

The only thing they can do is try to reduce hacking attempts, via the "stability" updates.
