Im done buying retail games im downloading from now on i like the gamecube version but new leafs gonna be fun i saw a rumour on the internet this is gonna be the last game!
My fav was the first one (I loved the NES games in it and the holidays, including Christmas!). But I am hoping the 3DS one (New Leaf) will be at least as good - and then that will be my favorite! Since it has been taking so many years to make this new one, I am expecting it to be absolutely perfect in every way.

Hmm... It's hard to choose between the original and Wide World, but I've got to go with Wide World because of the convenience of having Animal Crossing on a handheld. I am extremely excited for New Leaf.
Animal Crossing - Population: Growing! (the Gamecube version) is still my favorite. What other game allows you to have an awesome NES arcade room like this?
The first game will probably always be my favorite, but after being somewhat let-down by Wild World and especially City Folk, everything I've read about the changes and additions to New Leaf makes it sound like a safe bet to at least be my second-favorite AC title.
