Topic: What type of genre do you enjoy most?

While I mostly play FPS games, I do enjoy action-adventure games alongside action-RPGs, 2D shooters, and platformers.

For me these are my top three
RPG (All types of them action and JRPG's they are all great)
Adventure (Any type mostly prefer one with a good story to tell)
First Person Shooters (I know i kinda suckered into this one but halo and battlefield can be pretty great haha)
EDIT: actually i'm gonna just change the third one to Shooter games because i've been enjoying lots of Resident Evil and Kid Icarus

Strategy games.

I used to travel the stars, then I discovered Earth, and these incredibly addicting things called 'Video Games.'
And they said you couldn't buy happiness!

I will play just about anything but RPGs are my favorite. I am not very impressed with the selection currently available on the 3DS. I anxiously await a future in which many new and exciting RPG's exist.

While Platformers are my favorite genre by far, I do enjoy Adventure(Zelda, Metroid, Okami style) and good RPG's.

I would say 3rd Person Shooter but I don't think playing one TPS makes me like 'em all.
^Same for racing.

I like Simulation games the most and Puzzle games such as Professor Layton and Crushed.
Also enjoy adventure/action games.

I like all genres except rhythm because I'm a real gamer. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with the adventure genre because it encompasses any game you want it to.

I'm guessing that's sarcasm. If not, then the f**k is wrong with rhythm games? I consider myself a real gamer, and I love almost rhythm games. The only one that results in downright disrespect from me is Just Dance.

I love fighters (mostly 2D), rhythm games (DDR ftw!), and action adventure games. Starting to like JRPGs now too.

RPGs. I realized this when I went to play a DS game I wasn't stuck in, and out of my 30 or so games, only two, Animal Crossing and Elite Beat Agents, weren't RPGs.

I like action and adventure games. I used to get the most enjoyment out of RPGs (mainly JRPGs) but there haven't been many good ones this generation that I enjoyed outside of the ports of past great games (the Personas and Dragon Quests on handhelds). I'm hoping Ni No Kuni will be great and Xenoblade is one I have but haven't started yet.

Platformers, action adventures and first person shooters are my favorites. I would be really happy when the 3DS gets a quality FPS experience. I'm kind of surprised it lacks a first person shooter this far into its lifetime.

Favorite Game: Metroid Prime Hunters, Xenoblade Chronicles

I enjoy pretty much all genres, it's hard to pin down my favorite though.but i would probably say RPG or very good strategy games like Starcraft.
