what is your favorite mario game mine is mario cart

Top 3 Mario games for me:
1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)
2. Paper Mario Sticker Star (3DS)
3. Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)

If it counts then super smash bros melee is my favorite. I also really like Mario kart 8 deluxe and both super Mario 3d land and 3d world were excellent.

Super Mario Galaxy. It's the game that reignited my love for Nintendo games almost a decade ago.

Super Mario Galaxy. So many jaw-dropping I-can't-believe-this-game experiences.

I grew up in the first arcade age and started at home with Pong and Atari. When the original Super Mario Bros. came out at home, it was like nothing else I'd ever played on a home console. It was a far greater technical achievement than anything else I'd ever played. And then the same experience squared when SMB3 came out. Like how did they make this exponentially bigger and better than the first one on the same console? Galaxy gave me that same feeling. It was like a completely different world of gaming; no pun intended. I can count on both hands the number of times I've had that experience gaming. So it was a big deal.

Mario 3 and Mario World. These are my most replayed Mario games, by a large margin.

And since we're including non-traditional games with Mario in the title, then MK8D ranks up there as well.

Super Mario Galaxy

Super Mario Odyssey

My favorite MK games are Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and I would say my fav. MP is Mario Party 6. Fav. Mario RPG is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Oh yeah and I'm really liking Super Mario Maker 2, as well!

Super Mario RPG. I'm trying to find a copy right now for $40 with a working battery which isn't that easy.

Where is Super Mario World? Do you want our friendship to end so soon?

Except Mario Kart 8 that I would swop it for Super Mario Kart.

Super Mario 64 DS, New Super Mario Brothers and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga are the three Mario games that left the biggest impression on me and are my most played of the series.

Hotel Mario

Galaxy 1&2 by quite a long way. I think they're both very close to perfect games. Maybe the only thing that's lacking is a bit more of a story.

After that, probably Super Mario World. Then maybe 3D World. That didn't get the admiration it deserved I think.
