With Dream Team recently coming out (In the US at least), I'm curious to know what is everyones favorite game in the series? My favorite up until now has been superstar saga, but after playing dream team, I may have changed my mind. So what about you guys?

I've only played Bowser's Inside Story, and the demo for Dream Team. So, I'd have to say BiS, but Dream Team looks to be just as good, if not better. BiS is one of my all time favorite RPG's, though. That's saying something.

Superstar Saga I get that the gameplay is not as great as the later ones but this game was way more charming than the other two, the bean bean kingdom just looked cool, the minigames were fun and there were a lot of them, the coffee shop was one of my favorite parts of the game it was just so funny everytime you got a new coffee flavor and E Gadd came out. I preferred bro moves over bro items and the fact that you could upgrade them to advance moves and you're able to execute them differently. Something about the overall setting was just cool I remember liking the airport area and the yoshi theater and it was the first RPG where I didn't hate the desert area (and I've played SO MANY RPGs). Also so far that game is still the funniest one (at least for me but Bowser's Inside Story is pretty close).

I haven't played Superstar Saga all the way through (meh, i'll get back to it eventually i'm sure D: ) but out of Partners in Time, BiS, and Dream Team, i'd probably have to go with the latter so far. There's something about it that feels as if they went back to SS and drew straight from that a bit moreso than just building on what BiS laid out before, and it's really packed with Luigi-loving charm. we've only had bits and pieces of it here and there before, but this one has had a steadier focus on Luigi and Mario, I'm liking it a lot.
I'll have to hold out my final verdict until I've beaten the game too, but so far, DT is straight-up awesome

So far, Dream Team is my favourite. The other games were great too (I have a lot of fond memories of Superstar Saga, loved Bowser's Inside Story and even really enjoyed Partners in Time), but Dream Team just seems like the better game compared to the others. It's got more dynamic, interesting combat, an interesting world, some of the best music in the series and just so much more content.
And hey, its boss music is at least... dramatic. That's got to count for something, right?
Dream Team is only my favorite game in the Mario and Luigi series.But I've played Bowser's Inside Story before,but it was just a little bit of playing it.
Super Mario Bros 3. As much as I liked Super Mario World I just prefer SMB3 over that. Maybe its because of the all the different suits or the level designs just seemed more unique especially Giant Land.

SS wins out by a universe-wide margin, in the sense that it is ever expanding. Then PiT, Dream Team, and BIS.
Dream team would be above PiT, but several aspects don't translate well to 3d in my opinion. Still having a grand old time with it though. :3

I think I would have to say Superstar Saga by a very small margin. Bowser's Inside Story comes close, but the BeanBean Kingdom is so wacky and the characters are just hilarious. I love playing as Bowser, but the unique nature of Superstar Saga and just how fresh it is puts it at number one for me.
Partners in Time was good, but It's my least favorite of the trilogy. I think the story is good, and the premise is interesting, but compared to the other games in the series it wasn't quite as spectacular.
