First Person Shooters not being on the 3DS are, for me, a big void in the handheld's library. While the DS isn't known for those experiences, Metroid Prime Hunters, Dementium, Moon and Dementium II are games I love and were the games that made me interested in the genre. Seeing the 3DS approaching 3 years without such an experience is a shame to me. I also agree with @kkslider5552000 about the inclusion of more 3D platformers. I felt that was one category the DS didn't quite nail, so I definitely want the 3DS to do it justice.

I am really excited about Renegade Kid's new FPS for 3DS.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

2D platformers.... GOODS AND NEWS 2D platformers.... (NSMB2 is very bad, and DKCR3D is a port).
There's quite a few on the eShop. Fractured Soul, Steamworld Dig, Mutant Mudds, Cave Story, Mighty Switch Force and VVVVVV spring to mind.
3D Platformers, on the other hand, are quite paltry on the system. There's Mario 3D Land, Rayman 3D, and... that's it. Sonic Lost world will be on the system too, though, so that helps.
It's also good to see lots of other people wanting FPS games on this system. I quite enjoyed the stuff Renegade Kid put out, and Metroid Prime Hunters with friends was like portable Quake. Fantastic stuff.
Best thread ever

So am I. Cult County looks to be the first FPS experience on the system and looks like it'll also be delivering a very thick, consistent atmosphere. I've been wanting a deeper atmospheric experience from the 3DS for a while now, and I know Renegade Kid can deliver.

I hope it is because the micromes are missing on the 3DS!
FPSs(I discovered I only dislike the military ones!), RTSs, even MORE platformers(I'm not really a big fan but I like them, more the 3D ones with a few exceptions!), action-adventure(zelda type not casual game with an adventure tag in the genre), something crazy and new that doesn't fit conventional genres!
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn
