There are quite a few AR games though, after you complete the first few it unlocks an AR game shop which gives you access to even more. But they are quite nice diversions like shooting games, fishing games and a wierd golf/snooker type of game etc.

That's not even counting features in the 3DS Camera, 3DS Sound, and Mii Maker (which though not as in-depth, are still very entertaining for quite some time).
Yeah even though basically there's only AR games, Face Raiders, and Streepass games, each of them is chock full of features, so you should be set for a good while even before getting a game.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
...there is also a little notepad program for making in game notes or whatever, a friendlist to show whose online and what they are playing and an internet browser.
plus there is the pokedex and Nintendo Video to download for free from the shop... oh and Zelda four Swords is free to download as well.

as no one may ever mention the game again I need to point out that it amuses me that Miis, the biggest icon of casual gaming perhaps, is in an RPG-like game. Which is hilariously ironic for at least 3 entirely separate reasons.
