Besides Super Mario 64DS? What about that Sonic RPG?

I personally think Mario Kart DS plays better with the circle pad..

Sonic Chronicles is cntroled exclusively via stylus, so I don't really see the circle pad improving that.

But yeah, I really don't like circle pad controls for DS games.
so shoot me D:

The Sims 3, Viva Piñata and any other game were you move the camera, they actually feel very natural.

Dragon Quest 9 plays better with the circle pad. Other than that, I haven't played many of my DS games on my 3DS because I'm spoiled on my gorgeous DSi XL screens. :]

Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded was the first DS game I played on the 3DS. It obviously suits it perfectly, as the gameplay is near-identical to the PS2 counterparts.

It definitely helps with Okamiden. Not good for old-school RPGs like Chrono Trigger though.
It's basically that if the DS game requires you to use diagonals then it should be a benefit.

Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, SM64, MKDS, Final Fantasy, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Stafy, Chibi Robo, Chrono Trigger

When games make extensive use of the +Pad, using the circle pad is just more confortable.
Also, in some situations it just feels right to use the oPad instead.

I often find myself using the oPad to move the characters and the +Pad to move through menus and the like. My thumb moves by itself to fit the situation!

Meta-Rift

It makes movement more fluid in Metroid Prime Hunters.

Basically, the Circle Pad helps out in DS games where you can move diagonally (in 8 total directions), but it still only allows for 8 directions of movement. They can't just magically add full analog movement support to those games.

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

they can if they make individual patches for the games and include em in the firmware

Okamiden, i could go either way on to be honest. The circle pad was nice in big, open areas, but it was still not so great in tight quarters. :3

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

The only DS game I actually prefer to play with the circle pad is Pop Island.

Except Pokemon. I'm starting to get sick of not being able to walk diagonally in those games. Hopefully the 3DS will change that. (With new Pokemon releases, of course.)

I worked hard to get all of them, I traded Pokemon all summer in 2008. It's all I ever did, ever. I'm proud of them. But that's off topic...
